I think you'd get crickets offering any/all of those beers due to venn diagram issues. I honestly think anyone that has either a 13 or 14 is either holding onto it for a vertical or only would part with it for a big beer. Probably would have to way over pay to get both or either separately. Personally I wouldn't even bother, but that's me and my 2 cents.

Sure, I get that. In on this with some buddies so there are some options. Is a West Ashley too small of an anchor if I added some pluses (like Black Tues and fence row)? Have had luck trading lesser SARA bottles for more recent vintages of BG.

 

Yes, I could be way off or close here but that's why I asked the question. I heard (cannot confirm) that BA Jifforia closed 1:1 with Maman 17 on a STL FB site. If I am off is this more 2:1 or how big of a plus would I need for 4:1.

 

I just wanted to make sure that's what you meant, that's why I asked. I think that's a good offer but maybe someone won't want 2 of each. Maybe switching out one for a prop might work out better or 2 prop and 2 reserve would catch more eyes. But regardless I think that's a really good offer on your side. Good luck

 

I think I saw someone valuing their 2014 BG at about 120 (I don't understand VRU so I'll just give the numbers). I think if you had a Fou or St Lam people would give it up for that. Not sure about West Ashley being too small. I think it's value has dropped a little recently, but wouldn't be a bad starting point.

 

Can we seriously stop with the garbage quoting of secondary market values and just talk about trading? This thread keeps trending towards talking about these imaginary black market values that simply are poor representations of what is a good or fair offer.

The post I quoted, for example, had some useful info about Fou or St Lam being a reasonable offer. Why need to cite some absurd dollar amount that merely normalizes the selfish behavior of the scumbags of the community?

has the value of HF Flora batch 7 gone up recently? I can't seem to land one in a trade. I have been trying to use some SARA bottles as an anchor and I am getting no bites. West Ashley and Appreciation. Both latest batch

 

More of a personal response, but for my b7 Flora's I would be looking to trade comparable valued bottles, or trade up. I would not be looking to trade for 'quantity' - if you can call SARA quantity. I think this may hold true for others with b7s hanging around
