Review to rate?

    I tried rating a beer today and it wouldn't show my rating average. Tried twice. Under the review space it showed, turn your rating into a review. Is this something new? You have to review for your rating to count?

    I'm not sure I understand the question - can you sight the specific beer you are having the issue with and the specific field that you don't think is being counted?

    Your score for the beer is shown whether you rate or review a beer.

    You are probably hitting the larger "Rate It" button at the top after entering your information, rather the smaller "Submit" button at the bottom. Check that.

    @bbtkd nailed it. This is a known user flow issue that @Mike and I have been meaning to address.

    I've done 658 reviews, and have done the same thing 657 times. :rolling_eyes:

    I still do that occasionally.
    ditto...and then losing my 'well-crafted and witty' review verbiage and having to create new wordage from beer-addled memory...at least I always seem to remember my rating numbers...

    When I accidentally do that I can usually just hit the "rate" button again and get my review back - I think... maybe I'm not recalling that correctly, but in some way I can get the review back and then just hit submit.

    Exactly, just hit the "Rate It" button again and your information will still be there. Believe me, I've had enough practice. You'd think I'd learn... :flushed:
