Agreed....I'm planning on showing up around Noon expecting plenty of tickets to be available..the cost and pre-paying has knocked most of the Flippers and Mules out..tickets will not be an issue for people who actually want to go to The Party

 

Remember this is $325, UP FRONT. Nobody will see bottles for over a month. Certainly there seems to be some profit that could me made after bottles are picked up, but you never know how that goes. Bottles can potentially plummet in secondary price very quickly. The only bottles from that list essentially guaranteed a 3 digit value on secondary are adjunct trail and baigccs. Even baigccs has come down more and more lately. If anniversary bottles went on sale just at the brewery instead of being part of a ticket package there would have been 300-400 people in line or more easily. It’s just the way it is. Personally I’m glad they are doing it how they are!

 

Unfortunately there might not be many...if any left at noon

They’re talking about doing the sale early because the line was past the Jug & Bottle around 3.

This isn't accurate. Didn't get past jug and bottle till after 5. And didn't hit capacity till right before 8

 

To be fair they actually still had or have about 20-30 tickets left after the end of the line. Crazy you could have literally walked up at 10:45 and bought a ticket without any wait.

Obviously people stopped showing up because AC made that post which I don’t blame them at all for keeping people from waiting and getting shut out. Tough to do it perfectly but I thought besides the unavoidable longer wait they again knocked it out of the park.

Apparently there were idiots that didnt factor in tax or did but just handed them 325 instead of 325.50.
The line should have been a test. If you end up shitfaced , puking or passed out in the line for tickets you dont get one. Because wtf is going to happen to you in 4 hrs of free high ABV beer?

 

What did they do to those that handed them ¢50 short?

 

Since the bulk of the line is not on AC's property, but instead tends to wander through neighborhoods, the neighbors can get a bit disgruntled about people drinking on front of their house at 6:00am. The police patrol pretty regularly, so probably best to stay on your best behavior.

 

Although....People do share regularly in AC lines. For the ticket sale Cops even came by and chatted with people in line.

While public open containers isn't smart.....shares do happen. Best advice is ymmv and use your best judgment.

 

Apparently they let them be short.

I got there at 2 am, never once saw a cop pull up or stop by. Did see many drive by on Florida Avenue.

anyone get lucky with the online sale? The ticket box didn't show up for me right away, and once it did i couldn't add either session to my cart.
