Thanks for starting this one @Jlabs
Anyone have a guess on where in Gowanus?

after a minimal amount of Google Maps searching, I think it's 545 President St...

if this turns out to be true, it would be closer to OH than Threes and on the same block as Strong Rope!

Honestly way more interested in this release than the one at OH.

    Stout sounds excellent.

Yea I’m definitely hitting up Finback Saturday. Much easier for me to get to and this release sounds great

Edit: going to Carton first if any Irregular lasts.

I have been seeing these cans pop up a TON in Mass. Maybe its been that way for awhile and I didn't notice until I tried Heinous on Tap at Armsby Abby in Worcester. But I feel like they have increased distribution, how could I have been missing these cans?

Needless to say to people in a Finback thread (but i'm going to anyways). These guys make awesome beer. Heinous (as mentioned) was an incredible stout. Something Citra, You are not alone, rolling in clouds, Ultramarine all awesome IPA's. The Coquito stout that recently hit shelves is one of the best stouts ive ever had. I even enjoyed the Sours Red and Blueshift I've been buying Finback everywhere I see it now and I have no intention of stopping.

For the record, I was not a big fan of the beer they have just called "IPA", and the Shadowless stout was decent but nothing special on my taste buds. Both drinkable, just not remarkable. Everything else I have had has not just been good, its been fantastic.

Just hopping on to shower Finback with more praise. This batch of Chromoscope and the second iteration of Orange Crush are simply un-fuck-withable. Their Gowanus arrival can't come soon enough.

Also, if you are looking for can/draft availability, their beermenus page is updated frequently.

I've long thought Harpoon and Finback should do a collaboration, but when you think about it, a three-way Harpoon/Strong Rope/Finback collaboration would kind of make sense.

May as well throw Shipyard and Anchor in there as well.

I haven’t had this new OC batch but the first batch was ridiculous. One of my favorites and I’m glad it has found its way back into the rotation.

So that Wretched stout just made it up here (soooo good)

And the burley oaks collab, stormy water. Interesting, not my favorite, but its drinkable.

Where is that Stasis? I'm guessing those bottles are limited and brewery release only.

Just drank one of my Fire Dance bottles (bourbon version). What a ridiculously amazing beer. If it weren’t for the addition of a few adjuncts, I may like it more than BQE.

It’s still really annoying that cans make it up to Massachusetts when they don’t even get distro’d here. Not sure what the deal is...

That would annoy me to no end. I feel for ya. I have never seen the bottles make it up here. Which prompted my question about Stasis. But thats pretty awful that you guys don't get the local offerings in a store down there.

I wish I could say its just one vendor like a craft beer cellar, to make it seem like a one off thing. But I find them everywhere up here. Marty's, CBC, Julio's all get these cans, 2 - 3 weeks after their release at the brewery.

I got Stormy Water and Wretched at CBC Fenway.

CBC Westford just posted this yesterday , They got 5 different Finback cans in this week.

I think you should picket outside the brewery! And grab me a bottle of Stasis while your there, and i'll ship some cans back to New York for ya, lol.
