I don’t do Monks (anymore). I did at the beginning of their hazy thing. I stopped after the first 6 months of haze releases. I have my own reason and thoughts. Yes sometimes I read through here for sh!tes and grins. Doesn’t mean I’m trolling and looking to bash anybody here on the Monks thread. I respect all those who enjoy their Belgian’s and hazy’s. That’s their choice. If you @manny90 and @Redondo_Terp dont know the individual who’s posting here then maybe you shouldn’t leave such a rude comment. @OTB is well known here and has been here many years. He is well respected and knows his sh!te. So what if he’s a Monks fan. I think all of us here has a favorite brewery that we associate more than others. Everybody here should respect each other like you’d want to be respected. If not, go troll someplace else. :rage:

As usual taking one for the team at two days young. I wanted to see how the can varied from the small taster I had on Saturday at the tasting room. Similar to the tap pour the Citra and Nelson are more up front with this batch, with the Galaxy hiding out in the background, not surprisingly it's hoppy AF at this stage but really fun to taste. This should be fantastic in a couple weeks time. If you got em' crack one !

    Cheers,

Sushi details look pretty fun - anyone else trying to go for a ticket?

This is worth attending just for a serving of that 25 day aged blue fin medium fatty tuna belly, the Sushi Steak and Grill offerings are also very impressive, A-5 Wagyu :astonished: I'm sure this will sell out in minutes.

How are these dinners set up usually? Hard to imagine enough space for 100 people.

The Conviviums were table setup and served in courses. I imagine this one will be a bit different since it's their largest. Can't really say though

By the way, it's 'grammar' for anyone interested in correcting the sentence structure of other people's posts.

I have never had this from the can. I had a 3PM client meeting today right next door and when we wrapped there was maybe 35 people in line, right place right time ! This is hoppy AF obviously at this early stage but there's already lot's of citrus and tropical flavors showing big time. This will be amazing in 7-10 days and beyond.

    Cheers,

One day, I would love to see you go through all the different versions of Monkish IPA releases and rank them.

    Personally:
4-4.5 Fire Emoji's (though bonus .25 Fire Emoji for dat Nelson crop :sunglasses:)
    1-3 fruit emoji's
Tastes great now, but curious how it will age/settle/survive when shipped in a USPS box

@OTB you just happen to be in the area? Lol I was down the street when they announced the can release but didn’t see any decent parking so I drove home.
