2 cases per account was what I was told.

I picked up a four pack at two different places $7.99. I heard another place had same price $7.99. I believe the UPC was bringing up the bomber price. I called one of the places and asked about it and he said the price was wrong and should have a new UPC code but did ring up the bomber price. I was wondering if this happened at more places. This was rye barrel chocolate.

I did not have this luck. Encountered $4 singles one place and a $14.50 4 pack another. Not complaining. Love the 12 oz bottles. Probably my favorite CW beer besides the giant release event stouts. Glad to have it as something I can squirrel away and drink throughout the year versus being more of a once annual indulgence in the bomber format.

The 4 pack UPC is the same as the bomber UPC so unless the retailer was aware and updated the price, peeps got a good deal!

It might only be a high of 5F Saturday, but I couldn't be more excited for this party! Wow, that is one heck of a taplist.

Planning on leaving a note for my wife with a copy of the taplist:

"If I die this weekend, know that it was doing something I loved."

Freezing to death at the front of the line with a baby? That's a really odd thing to love but I'll be there with you.

Do we know what the heat situation is in the barrel warehouse? Worth wearing a coat if I don’t plan on lining up? I can’t seem to remember.

Our plan is wear a coat in the line, grab a beer and our allotment, drive back to the hotel, then take the bus back wearing a hoodie or flannel.

For those that are curious, descriptions have started to go up on untappd for the new beers on the tap list....

Going off my previous experience I would say this is an excellent plan. Getting the bottle allocation safely to the hotel ahead of time is paramount as no matter what your plans are for the night you will not be in any shape to carry a case of bombers outside across potentially icey walkways by the end of the party. People take huge diggers out front every year. Don't be one of those people and especially don't be dropping your whole bottle allocation on pavement if you do.

but if you're gonna do this, make sure I'm there to see it because it's always fun to watch.

VIP's have provided me with endless amounts of entertainment in years past.

I do this every year. The trick this year will be getting the variants... hopefully they have plenty and it’s a non-issue. Maybe it’s just me, but kinda disappointed that they used cherry in both 21 variants. Cherry is probably one of my least favorite stout adjuncts as I think it can be medicinal and I wish they had more options. Hopefully it’s great and I can eat my words.

I wasn't there to see this, but a buddy said at the 18 party a lady ate shit on the ice in such a way that a bottle she was carrying jammed up against her face and did what looked to be some serious damage. Try not to do this or @macewank will be standing right over you pointing and laughing.

How about a simpler variant like coffee or coconut?

Um... yes please. Coffee, coconut, hazelnut, vanilla, coco nibs, maple, literally any other fruit. So many options and choices were so concentrated. Peruvian morning and Cassian speak for themselves or maybe just my favs. Why not do an anniversary coffee and coffee vanilla variant? Just sayin.

Cookie Butter variant would have been good
