Had a short day at school today so I'm starting extra early. The missus had a meeting in town so I met up with her, dropped her off at her meeting and is now waiting for her to finish while finishing up some school work. Of course with a nice beer.

Warpigs & 3 Floyds (Eriks) November rain. Can't find any info on it online and I'm too lazy to get up and go look at the board. But it's a stout brewed with cinnamon, vanilla, chili and probably something else I forgot. There's a lot going on at once but the cinnamon and chili or the most dominant flavours. It works really well, believe or not. Cheers everyone!

Needed to clear my palate after that first beer.

Warpigs Spectre'd Isle, a 5.2% ABV lager. It doesn' taste like much after a chili/cinnamon/vanilla/coffee stout but it does the job. Refreshing, clean, crisp. Perfect palate cleanser.

Goodmorning BA.. Going to start with another double barrel bible belt since this beer was the best one I had yesterday. Huge nutty chocolate laced with bourbon, heavy on the coffee and light on the vanilla.. Just a fantastic beer cheers

Good morning BAs! It's a beautiful day here in scummy Pennsylvania. When I went to the Y it was raining. When I came out it was snowing and slippery as hell - a good follow-up to yesterday morning's ice storm. Today's New Breakfast Beer:

Not bad if a bit pricey.

Not a long walk this morning, it’s 65 and raining and Ava does not like wet grass let alone rain...home with a spicy milk stout - Hidden Springs’ “Deja Moo”:

Char, toasted brown bread, semi sweet cocoa, green pepper, spicy chillies sauce, some lactose as it warm. Creamy with pepper bite on tip of tongue. Chillies/green pepper linger. At 6.1% an easy drinking spicy eye opener. I’ll get more if it’s still on the shelves, as a peppery change up to the Baby for breakfast. Cheers!

Five year old is home sick from school, the Mrs is out shopping, one more night of work before a three day weekend, and I'm vacuuming the basement, listening to music, and drinking some Hopslam.

    From Biloxi brewing . . .

Light gold color with quickly bubbling then escaping white cap.

Aroma of very mild grain accented with lime and mint.

Pretty good taste for a light (4.1%) Koslch style ale, the lime is most prominent but does not dominate the mint accent. I get little of grain and none of hops, however there is nothing offensive about like some lime flavored brews I could mention. In fact there's nothing artificial at all about the flavorings. A bit of lime zing in the aftertaste, it's vibrant, mild and refreshing.

    Mild texture with balancing carbonation.

This appears to be their Beach Blond Ale with lime and mint added. A beach brew if ever there was one, lime wedge already included. A brew cooler for the cooler crowd.

At the in-laws for dinner. And even though a bought a few beers at Warpigs Brewpub earlier I'm saving them for better times.
So I'm stuck with the unofficial national Danish Christmas beer from Tuborg. Not a bad beer at all but absolutely nothing special either.

Kicking back with the dogs and enjoying the hell out of a Silent Disco by Funk Brewing. It's just a hoppy fruit bomb. The smell & taste are both full of mango, orange, pineapple & papaya. A real delight to have this one on a miserable, wet morning. It's like there's sunshine in my house now, if not outside.

    Cheers!
