    I didn't love that one as much as the gf, but what can I say, I only recently started drinking IPAs.

    Tasting insane as usual, 5 weeks old. Aromas and flavors of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, mango, melon, citrus peel/rind, light peppercorn, and pine hops; with some biscuity, light caramel/toasted malt balance; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on finish. Medium carbonation/body, and fairly crisp finishing. Sticky/resinous hops, with a fair amount of balancing bready/grainy malt creaminess in the mouthfeel. Moderate increasing resin dryness, never astringent. Super vibrant, juicy, and dank on hops; and extremely drinkable. Amazing classic Columbus, Simcoe, Centennial profile. Will always be a top favorite Ohio IPA, along with Columbus and White Rajah. Market Garden Citramax is a new favorite also. Glad this is in 6 packs now. Always get a pack or two when I visit family in OH.

    Happy Saturday ba. Been knocking back a bunch of the base so I figured I would re-visit the ba version. This is really nice and I seem to enjoy them both fairly equally. I probably would favor the base, simply because of the better price/quantity ratio of the now canned six packs.

    I really like their pilsner. Brother in law brought home a 6er for me last summer. Since we dont get distro in MI...:confused:

    Thanks for the tip! I've been there only once before, early last year. They were the only place around that had Nickelbrook Brewing (Toronto) Kentucky Bastard. And Short's Lemon Hop Stand, which was supposed to be S-mart only but a few cases made it into the wild.

    Beer #2: Mexican Donut, Barreled Souls' Dark Matter imperial stout aged on cinnamon, chocolate, and vanilla donuts, and Fresno chilies (and one of the survivors of yesterday's box).

    I’d need a nap and a pizza.

    Also, impressive. I’ve had some of their beers (not that particular one though) and they’ve all been pretty damn good.
