What would be a good ratio for the Central Waters 21 Anniversary Stout for east coast IPAS (Trillium, Lawsons, Alchemist). Also for Tree House Double Shot? Thanks.

I had one and it is insanely good. If you read the modern times league thread you can see what a shitshow it was. Limit 4pp for not enough league members. They cut it to limit 1pp after the servers broke and not all the league members got it. Was like 1800 bottles for 1000 members.

But seeing how hard it is for san diego to get world class BA stouts done I'm sure (at least for me) I'd be looking for a better j wakefield if someone was offering one.

I've been out of the trade game for years and while cleaning things out, saw that I have corked/caged 750ml bottles of Prairie Noir and Prairie Wine Noir. Looking to trade these away, but I'm not sure what to set as my ISO because there's not many of these bottles around anymore, plus there are SO many other stouts around nowadays. In general I'm not looking to ISO for stouts at all.

So a few questions:

My only real want right now is VSOJ, how many cans should I try and get? I'd even be cool with a combo pack that has other deep wood series cans.

Or what about lambic? Limited offerings from 3F (like Schaerbeekse Kriek or Hommage) would get my attention.

 

I dont want to rank it in VRU units because I'd prob inflate it. Throw the post up there is supply out there right now so you might get it done as is.

Im going .75 VRU. It was $35 a bottle and let me say the blending is spot on. Idk why but it had this kahlua thing going on. All the adjuncts blended nicely but none were very prominent. I think someone with 2 FOb4 prob would never find a trade but 3 would get it done with the right set of eyes thats how i got my VRU value that being said ive already seen a couple league members FT but they are more leveraging for bigger bottles.

 

Hey guys, haven’t seen anything on BBTb1 for awhile. I’m assuming this lost some value after BBTb2 came out and crushed. Do you think a BBTb1 could pull a maman and BAA 18’? Scrolling through post from 2018, thinking I’ll need a plus like FOb4? Think that’s ballpark?

 

No I don't think it's value was ever big enough to pull both of them.

Not sure what it would take.

 

I think it's closer to BBTb1 for Maman '18 with a solid plus, especially since a lot of people prefer the Maman. If you're on the BBT side you'd probably have to add a pretty nice plus to get both, but it's hard to tell when trading St Louis beers for other St Louis beers.

 

Can anyone give me input on the what it would take to pull the 3 Transient Buckley variants (Kentuckley, Canuckley, and Bring the Ruckley)? I don't know much about them and I can't seem to find any trading history with them. Would vintage Bruery (2014 Grey Monday, 2015 Black Tuesday, 2016 Chocolate Rain) be enough or would I need something else?

 

It's hard for the big weekday Bruery beers to pull things anymore, even vintages. I have all 3 bottles you are looking for and would definitely not let them go for that.

 

Yeah it seems bruery doesn't have much trade value anymore.

Ok I gotcha. I searched the ISO:FT forum and could only find a couple of trades that closed (1 was for 2x FOb4 and the other was for 3 BL bottles). I saw A LOT of FT: Transient ISO: Big Bottle being offered out there but saw no evidence of any of those closing. What have you seen these actually close for/what would you be looking for your bottles?

I threw up an ISO here a week or 2 back offering CW stuff looking for 2 cans of Revolution Boss Ryeway and got nothing on the post but 2 likes. I figured either CW 19 or XX would be fair for a 1:2 and also offered Black Gold 18 for a 'small plus' on the Rev side. Do I need to add on my end or drop the plus ask on the Black Gold? Is Boss Ryeway trading AT ALL or are shitlord triple-dippers holding all the cans hostage for secondary? I managed to get all the other Deepwood cans with this offer so perplexed as to why Boss seems to be non-existent. It's the last Deep Wood can of the season I want for myself and a trade buddy, so willing to work with people. Anyone see anything close in other trade groups or have any advice?
