Finally home and I think I deserve a beer

This orono stuff is legit, distribution has come a long way.. I haven't waited on line for beer in a long time and I'm grateful for that.. I'm also shocked we made it to 8 pages on this thread yesterday considering it was a Monday so cheers to that

Back from running errands with Mrs. Z, including a grocery store visit, and another long dog walk...absolutely gorgeous day, sunny and 65 in the shade with just a slight breeze...on the balcony with the pups and a relatively fresh Jai Alai:



Due to the freeze hitting the country, my shipment up north will wait until next week, in an abundance of caution...so one less errand, and more time to enjoy the day with some beers...Cheers from sunny St. Pete!

I'd say it's a good idea to wait. The high was -11 this morning, in central MN, and it's going to be -27 when I get done with work at 7pm - assuming I don't close early.

I use to love interboro until they just kept releasing ipa after ipa to stay relevant.. The quality fell off imo... Every since Grimm opened up a block away ive havent stop by interboro since

 

Decided to pop into a pair of thematically appropriate stouts from the Carolinas courtesy of the generosity of @Dragginballs76

My only other experiences with Heist were also courtesy of Mike.
Maple Bacon Junkie and Brunch Junkie are both fantastic breakfast stouts perfectly accompanying my lazy tuesday morning/early afternoon. They both present their featured adjunct really well over an enjoyable dry oatmeal stout that leans more towards the ashy/char side of stouts rather than the roasty round side.
