What beer are you drinking now? #2292

I was trying to do a @GreenBayBA one hander and I dropped the first can of beer. Rookie mistake, Grey Sail makes really nice better then average beers. This one is crisp and refreshing, 5 different malts and Columbus and Cascade hops gives it a floral, citrus taste. Not quite Daisy Cutter but then again what is?

I don’t know any good Jenny songs so this my favorite version of this tune.

 

Haven't heard this since the 90's.

 

I need to watch the Muscle Shoals documentary. It’s been on my list of movies to watch for some time now. Have you seen it?

 

This ones a little long in the tooth, early November, but still pretty tasty. Very citric still and really easy to drink. Not a huge fan of the sweetness on the finish but it’s a class enough DIPA that I can kinda let that slide . I’m out BA, enjoy what’s in that glass.

Just got them in MI last week. Fantastic NEIPA. Opaquely hazy green color, great rocky head retention/foamy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big mandarin orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, berries, citrus peel/zest, mint, wood, and light peppercorn/pine hops; with moderate wheat, biscuit dough, light honeyed malt balance; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Mild pine, citrus peel/zest, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; very creamy/bready/grainy malts, light sticky hops, and slight lingering resins/rinds in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing lingering bitter dryness, no cloying/astringency. Super smooth/soft, minimal warming 7.5%. Amazing Motueka, Citra, Mandarina Bavaria profile. Extremely juicy, vibrant, and lightly dank/earthy hop complexity; with a perfectly balanced wheat/oat/malt backbone. Light residual sweet with lingering dryness. Spot on style, will buy more. 4.25

Not a bad price...roughly $7 a 12 oz at a compromised euro vs. dollar...there are plenty of bottles locally for $27.99 to 29.99 for 22 ozs...I really like CBS but don’t want to spend the money on it this year; you’re getting a good price, and I’m hoping we see the smaller format stateside nex year. Cheers!

That was great, always loved Canned Heat! We used to jam over Refried Boogie all the time in my bands of the era.

 

I believe the correct answer is we each gather local whalez, then head to Florida and share with our beer nerd friend as he shares uber fresh Jai Alai with us.

I did. Tired Hands can most definitely compete with my two favorite Richmond breweries.

 

I sort of identify with Walt even though I don't own a cowboy hat or a horse.

You don't know what fun is till you try to start a car in -24F. Holy cow, even with a new battery, it fought me, but I won.
