I'm 39, fortunate that my parents had good taste in music. I don't remember what I had for lunch either. Don't sweat it.

Chips and queso with my first Capt. Lawrence, Orbital Tilt IPA, really enjoying this one, agree with the 4.0 in the reviews.

Poor man's vintage barrel aged Bigfoot. :sunglasses: Held up very well with alot of charred caramel malt with some citrus / pine bitterness on the back end. (And works perfectly with just a splash of Evan Williams. :relaxed:)

Thanks @brutalfarce. Awesome NEIPA. Great rocky head retention/soapy lacing. Aromas and flavors of big tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, light peppercorn, and pine hops; with balanced wheat, biscuit dough, light honey/toasted malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; very creamy/silky/bready malts, some sticky hops, and light resins/rinds in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing resin dryness, no hop astringency. Very smooth/soft, minimal warming 6.4%. Awesome Citra profile as expected. Very juicy and fairly dank earthy hops; with a great balancing wheat/oat/malt backbone. Mild residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. Really impressive, spot on style example. Tons of sweet jammy fruit complexity. 4.1

Another Proven Theory. An IPA brewed by Bench Top Brewing. @scream my friend, well past wine time. Or Makers Mark.

Very odd, but tasty beer here. Going with another Moonraker Citra option, but this one is filled with adjuncts (mangoes, vanilla bean and lactose). The vanilla is almost spicy. Crazy! I wonder what experts @superspak and @TheIPAHunter would think of it...

Thanks for your response. Daughter #2 (29) loves her moms music. Both daughters hate mine. And that is understood.

It is no secret that I am a die hard Bruce Springsteen fan. One life regret is I never saw him in concert even though I grew up in NJ--his stomping grounds.

Namaste my friend. Do not work too hard tomorrow.

Goddamn! You've thrown a couple songs up there I'd love to play "Who's the Artist?" with tonight. Yet again, I'd like to think I'd get the singer - though there's no chance I'd pick out Duane.

(Gonna pull a @vabeerguy with a moved-beyond-beer-to-whiskey moment, while halfway watching UVa lead NC State with 10 minutes left)

So, my recently retired brother and my nephew chase a storm up to Vermont to snowboard. He’s not a big craft beer drinker, so I tell him to pop into a beverage store and ask for suggestions and bring me something.
I meet him for hiking on Sunday, and he pulls this out and says, “The dude at the beer store said you’d like this. I tried one and it’s really good!”
What a surprise! First time for me, and it really is good!

I almost didn't say anything after reading your first post, but I figured as soon as you clicked on the link it would give it away anyway... Get on that Muscle Shoals documentary. Tons of musical surprises there. And yes, very subtle guitar work on Hey Jude.

Fantastic honey yellow body; dense, creamy head with lots of sticky foam inside the glass. Nice tropical fruit aroma with some toasted malt buried deep. Esters present if the flavor yet mostly malty (like an English-styled IPA); mild hop bitterness.
Medium-heavy body; velvety with some gentle residual sugars; a bit dry and lightly sweet.

A damn fine IPA, not to hoppy or biitter, doesn't overdo the fruit notes, and has a nice, proportional malt backbone. Very tasty.
