When does corn syrup replace lactose as the hot new adjunct?

I'm just waiting for the days where they start adding butter to IPAs/stouts.

    C'mon, Other Half...it's 2019. Let's not pussyfoot around anymore.

Thrice baked Potato. We took the original recipe for twice baked, and instead of dry hopping it again we just added a bunch of actual baked potatoes and tons of melted butter to the secondary.

Other Half - brewed with no corn syrup.

"No Diacetyl Rest" will be the new trend.

Finally back after a second stint at the country club. Two weeks this time. Getting a little institutionalized.

My takeaways from some time reflecting in solitude:

    1. I thought I was at the forefront of the OG No Lacto Hop Showers Superior Palates Movement - clearly not though. Been some pretty hardcore #notlactotoo action. Maybe too hardcore? I mean yes perhaps there were some odd choices for the re-releases - but OH has always catered to a particular kind of crowd with a particular set of beers. Yes we need to agitate in here to a certain extent, but there are plenty of easy accessible breweries in the area that dial things back a notch; many of which are distributed and even easier to come by.

    2. The #rochestersatelliteofficeboyz bitching was funny. Arguably no beers should have made it up there at all since there was no anniversary to celebrate - may have helped make things back in BK a little more chill.

    3. @Kanger early front running for the 2019 Glenn Close award

    4. The build up beers / re-releases being split across locations and in short supply - whatevs. But I really hope there's no ball drop on the actual anniversary beer - there should be enough to last all day so that everyone gets to pick some up.

    5. Lastly I hope Saturday was just the final death throes of #linelyfe

I noticed they made the re-releases of the collabs "vintages" on Untappd. Pretty smart move, considering the only people who got their hands on them are resellers/die-hards/people buying them second hand, who are all way more likely to rate them super high.

Does anyone know if this is DDH Oh...Dream or DDH Oh...Dream (5th Anniversary)? Because if it's the latter, I obviously must have it.

Like my sugar with coffee and cream was supposed to be released several months ago but someone forgot to add the coffee, which was why “forgot the coffee” was released instead at that time. At least thats what they told me.

It's so beautiful out, I got some "exercise" by biking to OH to scoop up some beers. One lactoat and the calories are back, but c'est la vie.

Crickets is gone, taplist has some good stuff on it.

They also only have Forever Ever, Green City, and Crickets on for Growlers if their website is up to date. Not much point in hitting them up for beer to-go at the moment.

Speaking of Green City, anybody know if there’s a reason OH hasn’t canned it? I always enjoy it when I see it at bars, would be really cool to have some cans.

"Due to the sheer amount of complaints on the BeerAdvocate forum, we have officially canceled the 5th Anniversary release. We will instead be releasing 20 different variants of Cookie Kooks, with adjuncts ranging from 'The Most Stuf Oreo® Cookies' to 'I Can't Believe It's Not Butter!® Spread Product'. No limit."
