Went down to the DC anniversary event. PB ran out before we got in but encore was a great IPA. Also got SHIT on Oreos but haven't cracked that crowler yet.

Anyone get anything special out of the giveaways? Ended up with a rueuze '16.

Also, read the marketing copy for the two beers and it's pretty obviously either a rebrand or a very, very minor recipe change.

I think it's a rebrand for mass, not sure though

Looking for a proxy to pick up my last few bottles in DC from 2018. I normally get out that way for work, but I'm not going to be back there till May or June now so I need someone to hold onto them for me till then. Gladly supply a thank you beer!

    Only 3 bottles and a 4pack.

Wasn't sure where to post this so if anyone knows someone in DC, please let them know.

    Cheers!

Anyone drop $60 on Elizabeth Rutherford? I thought it was included, but that is a Thomas Rutherford. . . on the fence about ordering something so expensive (and I haven't been super impressed w the Wineification series).

Yeah... I want another Ellie Rutherford myself, but I can’t get myself to spend that kind of money on one bottle of beer.

I think he's new HS and referring to the Elizabeth on sale now vs the Thomas we get later this year.

Yeah been in Hoarders forever (prolly last year given their rigidity on this 2/28 pickup thing), am confused on this Rutherford thing, says Thomas is included, but Liz = $60? Or am I missing something?

Huh? Elizabeth was included, with more available at $60 (before discount). Not sure what else you could be asking.

Elizabeth Rutherford released last year - check your order history Nov 5 for your two included bottles receipt. Thomas is a different beer that hasn't been released yet.

Cool, I see. It was an included beer last year (I haven't picked up yet), but it was available this year for $60.

    Thanks peeps.

My wallet and massive cellar was happy that January was a dead month. We'll see what February holds. I'm hoping to go fairly light this year to allow me to take a chunk out of my backlog. I just got into the 2016 beers at the end of last year. To put this backlog into perspective, I have 42 cubic feet of cold storage and something like 40 cases still in shippers. I'd like to submit myself for nomination to Grand Poobah of Hoarder's.

Surprised that the Wee Heavy has such a small limit
