I did not have any Estate tonight.

 

Wanted something from my collection, as I haven't had much of anything from it recently. Saw that I had 5 total bottles of this, and thought why the hell not? Bottled 9-14-11.I do see another member bust this out, but an even older vintage of 08!! It has gotten better from what I remember having it last year. It was pretty hot, and I didn't enjoy it all that much. This go round is better. Still not quite a top barleywine, but much better after some time to mellow. Here's to trying another one in a year!

Second in my Christmas-gift series of Mikkeller single-hop samplings. Can't believe how fruity/juicy the Nelson Sauvin hops taste...a stark contrast to Super Galena. Also, as thick and creamy as an ipa gets. Can't wait to see what the others taste like.

 

I had some Estate on tap last night, and it was DELICIOUS!

Started with a Lost Coast Winterbraun, dug on a Heavy Seas Below Decks (meh)... and loving the Founders Backwoods Bastard that I'm sipping right now!

This is hilarious because my step dad is in wisconsin right now, and he sent me a text that they were serving this at the bar of the hotel he was in, he knows Im a beer nut so he thought it was funny, and to top it off his name is fred look at OP's name lmao

 

Tonight is a good one. I know some do not enjoy Centennial IPA, but I sure do.

Have been meaning to have Huma and Two Hearted back-to-back for a while now...just happened to have some singles of each in the back of the cooler at work. I think I'm becoming more confident in my slight preference for Huma, but damn they're both so good!
