    FAQ (via tonewoodbrewing.com)
Question: We love your brewery and want to host a party there. Do you have space for private parties?
Answer: While we are thrilled that you would consider hosting a private event at Tonewood, we are not able to accommodate large groups for private functions. To best serve all of our customers, we do not reserve space.

Question: Do you allow outside food or drink?
    Answer:
    Food
Yes! We allow you to bring your own food or order from any number of local businesses.
    Drink
You may bring Non-Alcoholic beverages such as soft drinks, sodas, juice, coffee, and tea.

You may NOT bring any beverage that contains alcohol. This includes, but is not limited to, hard cider, wine, mead, liquor, or prepackaged beer.

Question: Do you fill Growlers? Does the Growler have to be from Tonewood?
Answer: We do fill Growlers, but not all of the beers available on draft are available in Growlers. If we have gone to the effort of putting beer into six-pack or four-pack cans, we will not fill those beers in Crowlers nor Growlers. We are happy to fill other breweries Growlers as well as unmarked Growlers.

Question: I struggle with Gluten intolerance. Do you make a Gluten-free/Gluten-reduced beer?
Answer: While we understand the struggle and feel your pain, we do not make any modifications to our beers to reduce gluten content. Beer is made with grain.

Question: Can I buy a keg of your beer for a private party at my home?
Answer: Unfortunately, the supply of packaged beer is being met by demand at many of the finest bars and restaurants in our area, leaving us in a position where we are unable to sell kegs directly to customers.

Question: Do you offer flights of taster sized pours?
Answer: We do not offer flights of taster sized pours. We do have six-ounce pours, which we are happy to fill two at a time.

    my tips/things to know
    • Enjoy a pint out on the patio/mini beer garden when the weather is nice.
    • They do crowlers for beers on-tap, which is nice if you want a beer that wasn't packaged for distro
    • They serve some of their beers on cask on occasion
    • Stay tuned to their instagram for release news, brewery updates and other useful info (no account required:smile:)
    • Parking has never been an issue, there is a big parking lot right across the street so don't worry about it.
    • They're dog friendly; at least if your dog is a friendly as well.
    • Philly Homebrew Outlet has a location right next door (they collab'd on a beer with Tonewood called "PHO Shizzle". It's a really nice English Mild, give it a go if you're a fan of the style.)
    • They sell some pretty cool merch and I can confirm that their hoodie is comfy af.

If I missed anything, please let me know below. Cheers!

how was powder daze this time around since they've been using the "hand selected" hops?

had that OH triple mosaic dream a few days ago and it was blueberry city... hoping this is in the same vein

I didn’t notice the “hand selected hops” thing. Interesting.

I wish I could tell you personally (my beer break ends Friday) but I’ve heard good things. I’ll report back on Friday!:beers:

My beer break was supposed to end Friday too but Powder Daze made it end a little bit early.

    It's great!

Some fruitiness. No bitterness really at all. Unsurprisingly very similar to Extra Knuckle by tired hands.
It's not a triple so it's probably not as fruity as the OH was (haven't had, but I assume).

Overall very good, goes down very easy. If you like Mosaic you won't regret the $16 that's for sure.

Man, how the hell are you going to choose which beers to drink Friday? It seems you’ve amassed quite the varied haul this month!

Yeah, I’m doomed. I think I have like 2 or 3 cases at least. A bunch are going out on trades but it’s coming right back in trades as well.

But to answer your question: I’m really not sure. Probably lots of hydration and eating something nourishing but not too filling (tacos?). Challenge accepted.

I don't go to Bottle King often, to be honest. It is funny-weird how those three shops are all on that one major intersection and you can find certain beers only at one of those shops. (For example, Cricket Hill & Tonewood only at BK, certain DFH and some Jersey stuff only at Gary's while Petrock's has more Victory stuff than Gary's)

I noticed that too. Last couple weeks I got different stuff at Gary’s and Petrocks for that reason.

Apparently Improv is now going to be a *roughly* year round offering

This is really excellent news. An awesome DIPA for a reasonable price. I’m sold. I gotta say though, I’ll miss the old labels. Not that the new ones look bad or anything (on the contrary, they look great!), I just really liked the colors and vibes of the old ones.

This is from the most recent “old batch” canned 1/22/19. Delicious as ever; RIP to the old label.

Might need to grab a crowler of this, just for the Flight of the Conchords reference alone.
