So tired of Eventbrite. So many times I get to click the number to purchase, then you go forward in the process to check out, and it kicks you back. This has happened to me multiple times in the last 4-5 sales. Sometimes I get back in, and have a successful purchase. Sometimes I don't. This time I didn't.

Besides HI and now JtR, I don’t think any of the sales have been quick or difficult.

I had an issue with Eventbrite for the Ground State sale, but ultimately I’d still much rather deal with EB than have to deal with standing in long lines at the Brewery.

This sale surprised me. Jam lasted almost an hour last year. This went to unavailable in seconds. Must have been a substantially smaller batch than last year’s.

Striking out on Eventbrite is infinitely better than striking out on an in-person release. I’d rather know if I’m not getting beer in a matter of seconds instead of wasting a day standing around doing nothing.

The releases generally haven’t been too difficult this year, with exception to HI and now JTR. Really don’t understand the negative comments at all.

This was the first time I had trouble getting more than one allocation - which obviously is a goal of mine since I’m coming from KC. Shocked it was tougher than the other releases. This is the first time I had troubles - getting tickets carted and then kicked on Eventbrite, but oh well. Not empty handed!

Do you guys remember when all the BL sales were like this? I do not miss those days.

Wow, surprised this was an instant sell out, must have cut production on it. I forgot about the sale until 12:45. I didn't expect it to be available then , but shocked at the instant sell out.

I've said this before, but I will say it again: I have never had issues getting a single bottle in any BL sale. If you really want to make sure to get some beer, the time saved by not having to increase the bottle quantity in the click-down menu is huge!

Do you mean just hitting “Buy” with the one bottle instead of trying to use the drop down to buy three bottles?

Yea. There was an informal study that showed just hitting “buy” with one saves just over 6 seconds on average, which is huge for beers that go unavailable in 20 seconds or so.

Question: Then how do you tell the system how many bottles you want to purchase?

I think hes saying if you suspect the sale is going to be an instant sell out and you really REALLY want at least one bottle, youre more likely to succeed by skipping the qty selection and keeping it at one. You wont get the full alottment but at least you get one.

I don't know if this has ever been asked, but for the people who attend WOL, and get the guaranteed bottle, those are released Friday/Saturday at midnight before the public sale, do you have up until the public sale to claim your one bottle, or do you need to be present at midnight to obtain it?

Never done WOL b/c of work, but may try this year to hit every day, and never saw if this was discussed at all.

You have until Friday midnight before the sale, IIRC. Best to just buy the bottle as soon as the Instagram post goes up that the member sales are live.
