That's a good point, there are some bad Indian restaurants out there! I go to More at least once a month. I agree, you are correct that it is still impressive for a Brewpub. Just no comparison to somewhere such as Gaylord, India House, home cooking, etc.

I'm ecstatic that I went with two 4-packs instead of one. The DDH Double Space Boots is outrageous! Color, nose, mouth feel, taste, it's firing on all cylinders and is easily the best IPA in the Chicago area I've had in awhile. A+

Just to clear up: Frooted didn’t run out. It wouldn’t pour so they stopped doing draft and crowlers. But it should go back on today. I had bad timing that when I stopped in for a crowler that the line was acting up

This happened with strawberry bananas Marbles. Between exploding cans and clogged draft lines, we can see the downside to using so much fruit in a beer

I wonder if they would ever do a Gulab Jamun Henna variant. Actually, that sounds like something Mikerphone would do. Call it We Jamun.

I bet that would be nicely done as a white stout

Yeah, it would be super sweet, but I guess Gulab Jamun is super sweet, so maybe that’s the right way to go.

For anyone looking to try Mehndi, Feb 23 could be a good opportunity: Warehouse Liquors

I saw that and was intrigued, but already have plans that day. First thing that caught my eye was a keg of Mehndi...I thought More said they didn't keg any of that, which is why only bottles were available for consumption at the brewery? I could also be mis-remembering that.

I also thought it odd that I had to pay $40 to come share my beers. Perhaps I missed some of the value there, but it would've been tough for me to swallow that.

They had to have kegged it. They had kegs at FoBAB and GABF.

$20 of the entry fee is going to Project Semicolon, a suicide prevention non-profit.

Oh yeah, I did read something about a charitable cause but didn't see the details of it in terms of how much was going to them.

Because nothing says let's combat suicide like getting together in a big group and sharing 3 bottles each of depressants....
