Bottle Logic Brewing (2019)

This past year, Academy of Exploration folks (the people who ran the entire WOL gauntlet) had a six-day long bonus bottle pre-sale opportunity. I generally take sale sites live on a Sunday with associated media posts, send a direct email reminder to AoE on Monday, then ultimately those folks have until 11:59pm on the Saturday before Sunday's Public Sale to secure their bonus bottle.

 

Heh, dang. I thought it was Friday...not sure why. That would have saved me TONS of stress a couple of times. Silly me. Thanks Lindsay!

 

Anyone have any intel on what's being released at 8PM tonight? Considering heading down, but if I spend an hour in traffic to get a pour of Red Rover I will be wholly let down!

I mean, if you consider the possibilities... maybe 2017 FO bottle pours? Number Crunch? 16' Leche? Fundamental Summation? ...any of those would be worthy of a little traffic for.

While that certainly seems possible, I interpreted the picture choice more as nod of appreciation to the fan who posted it originally. We will see!

 

Looks like FO ‘18, Mxy, GS ‘16, S&S, BC, PIYW ‘16, PCC, and LC, from the recent IG post.

 

Exactly that. I was in the area and managed to snag GS 16, PCC, PIYW 16, and FO. Mxy was gone before I arrived but overall a cool little event. No surprise but PCC was the winner for me. Mixing 50/50 FO and PCC was also delicious.

 

We’ve been exploring the art and science of barrel aged beers with our #StasisProject line since the first “Level I” release in 2014.⁣

Since then, bottles designated as “Level I” have grown into pillar brands — beers like #DarkstarNovember, #GroundState, and #FundamentalObservation. These beers each have their own unique base recipe builds and have become important large-release fixtures in our universe.⁣

Many of these “Level I” creations have gone on to inspire a secondary round of small-scale experimentation and development — heralding in “Level II” beers like the DSN-based #JamTheRadar, GS-based #ReactionState, and FO-based #RollForInitiative. ⁣

The “Level II” concept grew to include collaborative barrel-aged efforts; small-batch brews with friends and mentors from around the country. From these adventures we gained new favorites like #Mxyzptlk, #FundamentalSummation, and #StaffOfAsir.⁣

We have a few more production and packaging elements to finish before we share all of the information, but the entire Bottle Logic Brewing Team is elated to announce our first “Level III” bottled #StasisProject, closing out the last year of adventure and welcoming Year Five with an unreal 20.59% ABV. ⁣

I heard it’s got coffee, coconut, maple syrup, chili’s, peanut butter, cinnamon, froot loops, orange peals, mango, papaya, A1 steak sauce, fish sauce, cupcakes, butterfingers, caramel, frozen pizza, French fries, and salad dressing just to name a few...

 

As long as it doesn't look, feel, smell or taste like modern day Black Tuesday, I'm in.

 

So it's a collab with Five Guys.. That's just great.

 

20.59% does not a pleasant beer make.

At least it doesn't have cardamom.

So, this announcement has to be coming pretty soon? Next couple of days? I can only hold my breath for so long...

 

Eh, I'm just waiting on art pieces. The Quest Journal build took priority because it takes so long to print and bind. Hype is exhausting, and I'm only a little nefarious.
