Correct. That is one of the two I paid $40 for (Alpha Klaus and Behemoth). I'm not sure why, but I am not complaining

And BA Moloko + variants were $35 when last released in 2016

For the quality of the beer and the consistent barrel character, FFF barrel aged beers are always worth the money

Yep. It seems they nderstand that their position in the market has shifted. I'm super happy the prices are becoming reasonable.

It's also possible they are sourcing their own barrels from their distilling operation which would cut down on purchase price and freight charges making for cheaper barrel aged beer production, but who knows. That place was supposed to open in Fall 2018 and didn't

Bombers of Behemoth at the kiosk today $17. And still BA Behemoth 750s $30.

For what it is worth (probably not much), the newest date from the employees at the brewpub is early Spring for the distillery.

Anything bourbon barrel aged is definitely not coming from their distillery. They don’t have any spirit mature enough to be considered bourbon. So no spent bourbon barrels to age beer in.

What's the verdict on the new BA Maloko?

Having mine now and it’s delish! Well balanced, bourbon aroma and chocolatey with a small bourbon taste. Gonna get another bottle tomorrow!

They got some good barrel character in there. Good balance. A little thin, if I were to nitpick, but that's splitting hairs.

    I would buy more.

Some untappd hazebros were whining that Behemoth wasn't fruity enough and too malty. A bunch of F-ing morons.

I’m fucking pumped. That’s a great beer, and now at an affordable price.

I love that floyd’s is zigging when everyone else is zagging (or, it’s not normal).

Everyone else is putting out as much haze and juice as they can, while floyd’s is doing an ESB and weird bottles formats that also include European styles.

So FFF is putting a couple of obscure styles that used to be "bomber only" in 6 packs now. That's great, and I applaud it, but how about putting a few IIPAs in 4 packs now? All Floyds bombers are shelf turds here in Cincinnati now; it's gotten to the point where a lot of stores are only carrying the 6ers now. Permanent Funeral wasted away on the shelf at my local go-to not long ago. Made me sad, honestly.

I totally agree. Arctic Panzer, Dreadnaught, and Perment Funeral are still special beers, and I would buy the hell out of them in 4-packs. I won’t do IPA bombers for any beer though.

Wish they would just get the 4 packs of 16oz cans going already.

As far behind the curve as FFF is with packaging formats, that's likely 8 years down the road, if ever. I'm not really partisan either way myself though.

Their 4 pack of bottles are better than any 16oz cans........Their 16 oz bottles are like the Cadillac of drinking vessels...
