I’d probably go with ‘Good’ but note the delay and questionable/spotty communication. If beer was only a week delayed, I don’t think I could use that justification to leave ‘bad’ or even neutral.

Seems like a fair case for neutral. Assuming everything arrives safely and as expected that's good but a solid week of bad communication and unexplained delays certainly doesn't strike me as"good". If not for situations like this then when would you leave neutral?

Depends on the person. Perfectly justifiable if OP wants to leave neutral. For me it would be an extended delay (2-4 weeks) without shipping and poor communication, and assuming I got all the agreed upon beers. Others have left 'good' for far more egregious instances. Just depends.

If you haven't followed up yet to verify that your box is actually in the hands of the delivery co., you should probably do so - probably about a third of the time, my trading pards haven't actually sent the box when they give me the digits. With a sketchy dude like this, I'd be sure follow up promptly.

If he hasn't actually sent it, 'neutral' for sure.

I agree. I can't leave a rating of good if I need to chase someone to deliver. I'd go with a neutral rating myself.

if the person is using fedex...you can actually tell in the app if it's in their hands yet and when it gets moving

I’d go neutral with an explanation, it’s a flag without killing the guy because you did get your beer. If he added xtras with an apology I’d go positive still with an explanation. At worst he’ll be asked to ship first for a while. With only three trades could be he was only lackadaisical, so a lesson learned.

This is fine until a point, say maybe 10 trades. But if shipper A has 35 ratings, and shipper B has 34, does it really matter?

I agree. After 5 or 10 trades, a trader is no longer new.

While I didn't specify.....my post was made with the thought of very low trade completion person ships first. IE sub 10

Your latter example is moot and not what I meant haha

Update. Beer finally arrived TODAY. No extras, despite both parties agreeing to add, and despite him receive his box well before he shipped mine.

Oh well, I’m just happy I received my box...I had practically written it off at this point.

I’ll be leaving appropriate feedback to warn others going forward.

Thanks all for your input here.

I change my opinion a bit: in light of no extras in-spite of agreement on extras, I would give this a neutral, to possibly negative, feedback and cite all the concerns + issues. Make sure the feedback left for you is not retaliatory either, otherwise he should be banned in that case.

Glad you got the box OP.

I agree. Especially since you mentioned that both of you agreed to include extras. The fact that he didn't, all this shipping nonsense aside, is reason for at least neutral. He never did actually ship you what was agreed upon. The bad shipping and communication is just icing on the cake.

Thanks for posting the update. Glad you got your box, but what a poor experience, sorry. I'm glad you're leaving the appropriate feedback and I'll be very curious to see who this trader is.

If extras were agreed upon than ABSOLUTELY this trade warrants negative feedback. No one deserves a trade like this .

    1. Shitty Communication

    2. Agreed upon beer not sent

    3. Starting a possibie bad trader thread in order to get your incomplete box

I sincerely hope you put negative down because nothing about this experience seems neutral to me. Please bear in mind that if another situation should pop up with your trader, this thread and your feedback left will come up again.

Sorry you had to deal with this. At least you got most of your beer.

If you don’t mind me asking what was the original trade for and what did you include for extras?

I always think of extras as just that. I always include them and make mine quality stuff. I have received some extras that have blown me away and I have received some extras that probably should have stayed as a shelf turd in the original location. However since extras where specifically agreed upon, communication sucked, shipping was not as agreed, I would probably leave negative feedback with an explanation of why including that you did eventually get the original beer that you traded for.

Please list the BA name so I can add it to my don't trade with. thanks

I’m curious if he’s scoping out this thread too. Couldn’t he get negative feedback and now just not leave any to spare his rating?

Haven't commented here yet, but been following. At a minimum, this person deserves neutral feedback with an honest report as to why. Don't disagree with others saying possible negative and maybe even tagged in a BT thread. @dmbforever any thoughts here?

Yep, don't believe that loophole has been closed. If they go that route, that's where I think they have to be tagged publicly and forever enshrined in a public thread for all to see.
