    Here's from the website:

"Because of how special this one is to us, we want everyone who drinks it to have the same experience. All on-site consumption will be bottles only - no draft."

I tried it at FOBAB and on-site, and thought out of the bottle was noticeably better. Understand that they are gonna need to keg it for certain events they want to do - I found it kind of strange that Side Project was pouring bottles at Half Acre's Far & Away event when almost everyone else had draft.

Not that I didn't try the 2 Side Project options...

Reservation only Valentine's dinner tonight..."Special Tap Lists" for only the dinner crowd. They said there were still 9pm reservations open. No bar walkups allowed for the special tap list...Certainly enjoy the sound of "list"....leads me to believe they may have multiple items on tap tonight that they wouldn't normally.

2018 Valentines they had Vanillanoize, and I think Henna Smores too). Interested to see what comes out tonight!

I love that picture. I didn't particularly love that beer when it was on draft, though they seem to have dialed there hops up a notch since then.

I do agree with the dialing it in part (didn’t have that beer though). Every repeat batch that I’ve had has tasted ‘better’ to me. Lately it has felt that every time I go there, there isn’t a bad choice.

Yeah this one’s a triple, and there’s only one or two triple IPAs that I can remember liking

Edit: looks like the special taps are strawberry and hazelnut city.

    Henna Blueberry Pancake on tap.
Solid but probably my least favorite Henna beer.
Similarly, the strawberry and the hazelnut city beers are solid though I think the coconut and chocolate variants were better.
They have a dozen of their beers currently on tap, so for everyone who has complained/commented about lack of options, get at it.

Fridge is still full, plenty of 4-packs. City stouts are gone, but blueberry pancakes is on still, and I enjoy it a lot. Blueberry forward with a subtle maple finish

So how's the beer (DDH Barren Fuel) tasting this time around?

I haven't had it prior to this release. I can say that Triples are tricky for me. I don't like them all. I haven't found this one "sticky sweet" at all as advertised. The honey is there but just plays well with the Citra. Very smooth. I'm glad that I picked up two four packs.

I came for the henna, had a 5 oz pour of the DDH BH and liked it a lot better than the first time. Enough to get a 4pack to split

It’s funny you say that because the owners are Indian and it’s from their family recipes

So my wife was born in India too and that was my selling point for us to go eat there. The first few times we went it was delicious, and very authentic! However, last time we ate there, about 3-4 months ago the Indian food had changed! They even brought the food with bread that wasn’t the traditional naan, it was very odd and the Indian food was underwhelmin(my burger and appetizers were still great). I almost wonder if they tried to “Americanize” it in a sense. Not sure...

That’s weird? They still serve it with naan. I would’ve said something about it. Give it another try, though. I literally went and had it last night after talking about it and it was great!

I ate there about 2 weeks ago too, and the table next to me was a ~70 year old Indian couple sitting there with a bowl of chicken masala, a bowl of rice, and a plate full of naan. They seemed to be enjoying themselves.
