Had multiple cans of Wrench from the 1/9 batch that were back to being dialed in. No wateryness to it at all, same old top shelf Wrench. Just found a can from s 1/28 batch that's back to being off. This batch seems to be more bitter than usual and has a distinct paper towel taste to it. What's going on up there with these batch inconsistencies?

I thought it was pretty good. I don't know too much about the brut IPA style so natural inclination is to compare it to week 104. It's really bright and clean like week 104, but not as dry. You definitely get the lemon. It's very drinkable for 7%.

South Jersey people I have a question: has anyone seen metric around recently, use to by it all the time last year and no I have not seen it in a long time at the few stores I normally go to. I guess it wasn't selling so places stopped ordering. Any sightings?

The new Brut IPA is terrible Doesn't even compare to the previous one, that one was really good.

Saw old cans only (Wegmans) a couple months ago (old meaning I think July if I recall correctly).

I had the exact opposite experience. Well not exactly, I also loved Week 104. My only problem with Cut Once is not sure what makes it a Brut IPA, and not just a fucking delicious American IPA.

new release for the 28th: Screwdriver, a Double IPA. Not many details other than it will be 8% ABV. I live near the brewery but sadly I'm not into the NEIPA craze that they have really capitalized on. The Landscape series and Tools of the Trade on the other hand... big fan.

It is still available in some bottle shops in the city, I saw it at Clinton Gourmet in HK a week or so ago.

I ought to find a can of Cut Once.

Oh nice I’ll be in the city this weekend. I’ll probably check Carmine St as they usually have all the IA stuff that is distributed.

There is a second drop of See Translation

Canned today, I find it rather unique, but in a good way.

Winter Landscape is absolutely amazing. But of course with my luck I was drinking it on a firescape on a normal 58 degree Manhattan evening last night. Would love to drink this in my yard after a major snowfall and 5 hours of shoveling.

2/6 Wrench drinking excellent. Must say I started drinking beer again on 1/18 and have had three different dates of Wrench and have yet to experience any batch variation, good or bad.

Drinking a Wrench canned 1/22 and tastes just about as close to what I remember it tasted like around late 2017 when I first tried it. Agree with others here that recent batches have been 'off.' Amazing how a year and half ago I used to call every liquor store around asking if they had it in stock, and two days ago I happened to stumble upon fresh Wrench at Whole Foods.
