More Brewing Co (2019)

I'm aware I certainly am not going to ding them for the quality; it just would not make financial sense for them to hire one of the better Indian chefs; too cost prohibitive for a few items on their menu. For those not aware, the cook basically makes or breaks the restaurant for Indian restaurants. It is very unique compared to other restaurants.

My guess is most people that eat there are not going to be familiar with the differences in taste for Indian food. It is very good for what it is. I just wouldn't want people to think are going to get Gaylord quality food at More Brewing.

 

Not to nitpick but its not like we're talking about super authentic Indian food this is like UK style Masala right?

We are on Day 9 of Frooted having disappeared on tap after not pouring correctly. Maybe being held back strategically at this point?

 

Maybe they'll go next level with it and start serving it from a Slurpee machine this summer!

 

Was there the other day and overhead the bartender tell someone that the “fruit fell out” so they removed it from draft. Not sure what that means...

 

Who knew that the 2019 More thread would be more focused on their food than their beer...

This batch of Strong Hand is very good. I went back for a 2nd 4 pack today. I feel like their hop program may be taking a step forward lately. I had an on-site can of Frooted Raspberry/Blackberry yesterday. Super thick and the flavors are as advertised. Pretty nice taplist there right now

 

They still have strong hand to go ?

What were there offerings? I don't think they ever really keg their barrel aged stuff

 

For SP at Far & Away? The beer list had Derivation #10 & La Ruche, Cory also brought a variety of other bottles (Framboise du Fermier & Punchdown Pinot Noir were definitely amongst those, a few others too).

Usually they bring bottles to fests, haven't seen many where they've had kegs; typically those are just for at the Cellar/Brewery.

 

Yeah the person I was responding to said he thought it was odd that they didn't bring kegs and I was saying that they do just about any big beer they make strictly out of bottles.

 

I understand that’s what they do, my point was I think it’s odd at an event like that. And I was talking in the context of More kegging a beer for a specific event (a beer they otherwise only bottled).

There is a pic of the can on untappd from a check in last night, so this is my guess. Im sure they refined the original test batch that was on draft weeks back as well, so hype train alert ha. Wonder how early on a Saturday one will have to line up.........starting now most likely.

 

Also double vanilla marbles. People might actually camp out overnight for that
