Name this person here, enough is enough already, you were more than generous in not naming them as this unfolded. Not sending extras when they were agreed upon is the final kick in the nuts. They deserve a public shaming.

id like to know what beer was involved in this trade as well (not that it matters). But yea if extras were agreed and he didnt add any definitely id give him a bad rating. sounds like this guy sucks and id like to know who he is so i dont ever trade with him

If you agreed upon it, they are not “extras”, they are random included locals. Extras are what you throw in above and beyond the agreed upon trade. So in my opinion, he did not live up to his end of the trade. No need to publicly shame them, just give negative feedback and move on.

    Hi all,

So the trader is dabrees. Let me clarify how the discussion around extras went.

    I wrote:

    Good deal.

So I’ll be ready to ship Monday.

To clarify again, I’m shipping you:

    4x XXI
    1x BG
    Couple of locals as extras

    Here’s my shipping info:
    (insert shipping info here)

    And he wrote:

    Mine is

    (insert shipping info here)

    Sounds good man!

He sent me 2 GNVPs, Cycle Stay Fancy, and two Dawgs. Was supposed to be 5:5 with extras.

So perhaps he didn't 100% confirm he was going to add extras...I took his "Sounds good man!" as confirmation....

Either way, I agree the feedback I leave should not be positive. Torn on whether to leave okay vs. bad.

Looking at that there may have been a innocent misunderstanding. To avoid this I always summarize the trade before shipping as follows

    "I am shipping X,Y,Z

    You are Shipping A, B, C.

    I will ship (day)

My ship to address is ..."

This avoids any potential misunderstanding. If extras was part of the agreement "2 local extras" would be included in both sides for the summary.

    Yeah the summary is key.

I've definitely been doing this a lot more as of late

Yeah I don't see anywhere there where it was confirmed about him sending extras, unless it was somewhere else in the post. I agree after the hassle he should have hooked the OP up, but nothing said he was for sure sending extra. I've noticed with social media traders they almost never do extras and if they cross onto BA then those traders usually stay with that mentality. Extras are just extra though so in the end as long as I get my confirmed trade beers I'm usually happy.

This also may be why he has 5 open trades. He’s failing to rate them to avoid negative feedback?

So I wonder what finally got the deal done?

    Mod message?

He finally decided to just send it?

Yeah if that's the reason.....that sucks.

Tbh if people avoid leaving feedback....it shouldn't drop off...they should just be banned from the trade forum until feedback is left.

You can leave feedback and even if the other side does not leave feedback your feedback can be seen in their trading feedback. I have 2 trades that are still open that I received my end and left feedback. One of them I am waiting for a break in weather in MN to ship (of course this is communicated and accepted by the other side) and the other my side is scheduled to be delivered today. I just looked at both those traders pages and my feedback is visible even though they haven't left feedback for me yet.

I sent this box a while back. @tspoke here is the tracking link: https://www.fedex.com/apps/fedextrack/?tracknumbers=774443906291

So do you have the box or not? It shows delivered. I haven't left feedback because I'm really use and don't prioritize this. Yes I am slow to ship because I have a lot on my plate in life at the moment. Please update so you're not smearing my name more

Based on the facts so far reported, the only person smearing your name is you. And if you have a lot on your plate, DONT TRADE! Very unfair of you to put trading partners in undesirable situations because of your irresponsible trading behavior.

Bingo. Waiting for the "it's just beer, no one died" statement. If you have a lot on your plate, focus on that and not trading. I also thought this was rich, "I don't prioritize this." Um, you have several open trades and continue to seek out more - posted a reply on a trade minutes ago. Life comes at you fast.

@jrnyc understood. I'm offering to ship first and being clear there may be delays with my newer trades.

Smearing your name implies that some of the information supplied by @tspoke is inaccurate or exaggerated. If there's something in the OP or this thread that you feel depicts you unfairly, I think we would all be interested in knowing what that is.

@tspoke confirmed several days ago I believe that he did receive your package. What I think concerns the community, was your lack of communication and failure to update your trading partner regarding the reasons for the delay in shipping.

Many of us have been in your shoes ("I have a lot on my plate in life at the moment"), and so have some familiarity with what that's like. In my experience, most traders are very understanding and forgiving when there are delays associated with personal problems at home. All they ask (all that anyone asks I think), is that they be apprised of the delay and provided with a brief explanation of the cause and when (generally) they can expect to receive their shipment.
