Skimmed over the previous old thread and didn't see anything that said anything about distribution of Casa Agria beers. I had just assumed that you can't find their beers randomly in a grocery store or bottle shop. Not the case? Am at Arch Bridge in Oregon City and they have a whole rack of CA Sobrantes saison. $14 a pop.

Not complaining at all. Just surprised.

This is from Ryan the owner:

"This year we spent a lot of time traveling to pour Casa beers in new out of state markets. The goal was to find a few select markets where we could send beer to once our expansion is completed. We have chosen 3 markets and are happy to find small local craft distributors to handle our account.

We can announce the first two markets now, and the other is being finalized soon.

Reverie will be distributing CASA in the Richmond, Virginia area and Union Beer Distributors will be handling our account in New York.

The expansion will also mean more beer in the California marketplace, at this time we have decided to self distribute in California, with the goal of having off site tasting rooms in the future."

So this brewery isn't getting much traction here, even though I quite enjoy what I've had from them Saison/sour-wise. I'm not able to make it since I live in SF and have a number of competing priorities (like our ailing dog), but just thought I'd throw this out there for anyone who is interested.

    Casa Agria 3rd Anniversary

We will be celebrating our three-year anniversary on SATURDAY FEBRUARY 9, 2019 at our tasting room in Oxnard. We invite you to stop in and say hello and celebrate with us. Wandering Pie Pizza will on site serving up some tasty treats and we will have our favorite Vinyl DJ in the barrel room to set the vibe. We will also be releasing a special sour ale to commemorate the anniversary.

Release #1: FLANDERS STYLE ALE | ALC. 6% BY VOL. | 750 ML BOTTLE
    PARABLES OF PURITY
was inspired by the Red Ales of Flanders in Belgium, and we were excited to create this beer with Pure Project because of their past successes, uhhem uhem gold medal, uhem!. Blending year old beers with fresh young beer to balance malt and acidity the character is bright and drinkable.

Pouring a deep plum colored amber the aroma is subtle vanilla, dates, with light minerality. The body is dry but balanced with a deep malt presence, the flavors bring us back to dark fruits with dried plum and a finishing acidity that refreshes with a crisp snap.

    Release #2: TRES CASAS| ALC. 6.1% BY VOL. | 750 ML BOTTLE
    TRES CASAS
is created by blending one, two, and three-year-old golden sour ales from all three years we have been brewing and creating. Individually they bring something unique and important to the profile. 10 percent of the blend comes from barrels over three years old that expressed as tropical fruit, acidity, and strong oak tannins reminding us of tart macaroons. 30 percent of the blend was 2-year-old barrel aged stock that was more fruit character from the Brettanomyces with low acidity and light malt. The final 60 percent was equal parts golden brett beer and golden foeder beer, both a year old. Each brings youth and vibrance to the blend, the foeder with some acidity and American oak quality and the brett beer with more soft fruit character. Finally, the blend was brought together and naturally conditioned in bottles and kegs with local wildflower honey.

Does the Stout have a short pickup window like IPA's?

Thanks. I wonder the reasoning for the short pickup for this can.

Yeah kinda sucks that limits are so low. Though it's expensive so I guess it's for the best

When did they start doing stouts? The one time that I stopped through there it was all saisons and ipas. I think there were a couple of mixed ferm beers as well but definitely nothing darker than a dark saison
