    Brunch with the baby, well no. No more baby on FBS label for reasons we all know, just a hand and a bowl, otherwise the beer remain the same: a very enjoyable stout and a perfect start to someone’s day :wink:

    Good afternoon Euro-BAs and good morning US BAs! Freezing rain overnight - I slid halfway down the driveway this morning while retrieving the paper. Fortunately, my feet are the size of rowboats so I sort of skied down. @Shanex, congratulations on you ascendance to the exalted rank of "Moderator". It's about time someone from outside the US joined the ranks of the Illuminati. Today's New Breakfast Beer:



    I think the yeti ate most of the cherries; their presence in the taste is ephemeral at best.

    Happy Thursday ba. Getting into it with my 2nd bottle of this ba. Crazy good, with pungent and coffee forward notes and really smooth and creamy. If they downgraded the serving size from a god damn wine bottle I would buy this a lot more.

    Got up 6am, took the dogs out and fed them, then I went back to bed - what a treat! Now for my coffee - BOMB!:



    Not sure when bottled/too lazy to research Code I can’t decipher...strong coffee nose yet more chocolate on taste; bitter roast coffee in middle; just a bit of hot pepper sauce; the alcohol is just right and slightly warming at 13%. I’d drink this beer more often, as it ticks all my personal preferences boxes, but I routinely pass it by because of the $9.99 - 11.99/bottle price tag...perhaps that is a good thing :rolling_eyes: Cheers from Charleston SC!

    So, live beer is another delightful mornin' eye-opener Stout, one of my usuals.

    However, last night, got a chance to endure some Pliny action when a local taproom did a weird "raffle" for the "right" to purchase some Pliny the Younger, before then tapping Pliny the Elder. Much madness and rejoicing ensued... photo below is the Younger before going down the hatch. $10 for a 10 oz pour. Ouch. Still, about 100 people packed into a space meant for 35, it was quite the human sardine experiment. Cheers!

    Good for you! Love that stout... and PtY is the best triple IPA I’ve ever had...so cool RR sent a keg your way (and PtE on tap is great too!); you have been drinking well, sir!
