The last thing I need is more BT. Especially 12 month chronology BT which would essentially just be regular BT right?

BT, BTR, and Grand Black Tuesday Reserve is kind of a Chronology BT set, no? 12 months, 24 months (though I guess not in the same barrels for 24 months), and 36 months?

I kind of lean this way... Although if they did a four pack of cans all at once so it was immediately vertical friendly that might be interesting. Technically they would use base beer brewed at different times, so a little different than other Chronology.

I can't read the small batch. And I'm not clever enough to figure out how to zoom in. haha.

Will just have to wait !

No preview on Hold My Spoon, so I wonder if that's getting pushed back a month?

    Hoarder Box has:

Blend of wine and port BT
    Mash and grind with maple
    Ani with Cherry vanilla

Sour blonde with Cherry and Jasmine
    Sour rye with tangerine vanilla
Rum ba sour stout with Cherry

I genuinely enjoy Terreux sours, but am I the only one who finds them-self a lot less excited about the sours in the box each release? The Bruery beers all feel pretty special, while the sours have mostly seemed like stuff that might have been a regular RS release.

I don't drink a lot of sours, so the ones that are included in my various memberships are more then enough.

As a result, these box releases don't really work for me. I can't justify buying the box for the 2 or 3 beers that I am interested in.

Kinda bummed Mash & Grind w/ Maple is Hoarders since Mash & French Toast was supposed to see Reserve release last year and we never saw it. Hopefully it’ll be released this year.

    ***Rant Alert***

I’ve moaned about this before, but for some reason, it really is irking me now... I just went to the Terreux TR, and they had none of the allocations I was hoping to try (namely Smore BBLs and MW) on tap. There used to be a time when an allocated beer would almost be guaranteed on tap through the allocation period, but since the Terreux TR opened, there is little (if any) rhyme/reason to what’s on tap where. I can understand wanting to have unique taplists at each place, but it’s quite frustrating having to go to both tasting rooms to piece together a decent enough sampling of the months allocations to know what I’m going to buy (ex. I think S’more BBLs is either going to be an easy max or a “not my thing.” I’d really like to try it before pulling the trigger either direction). While this would be a mild at worst inconvenience for a local, I only get to come down from the Bay a handful of times a year, and often have limited time, so it’s difficult to squeeze in going to both tasting rooms (plus, my wife is with me and I feel it’s quite unfair to just drag her to a bunch of different breweries... I feel like I’ve already stretched her limit this trip). There is a chance I’ll get to squeeze a trip to the other TR in on Sunday, but even then, it’s become such a crapshoot as to where to go to try what.

These bottles are expensive and I don’t always feel comfortable buying on blind faith (something like MW feels safe because I’ve had other vintages of it, but SBBLs seems like a gamble). Plus, I’m running out of space at home and am cutting back on my beer purchases... the days of blindly maxing out are gone, so I really need first person info before I drop a load of money on a beer. I’m not quite sure who to reach out to (and am in no way blaming the TR staff... they are awesome!), but I really want to share this feedback with whoever is in charge of making the decisions on what is on tap where.

    ***end rant***

Let me be clear though... this is in no way a complaint about the staff/environment at either tasting room... I have many people at both who I consider friends and I always appreciate how much they take care of me when I visit. My frustration is completely aimed at the availability (or lack thereof) of this month’s allocated beers, and who is behind those decisions.

    Love you TR staff!

Out of curiosity, have you sent this feedback directly to the Bruery via email?

I’m not sure who is in charge of this... so I don’t know who to talk to (though I have shared my thoughts, in a very polite way, with my friends in the TR staff).

[email protected] ? [email protected] ? I mean, it's pretty obvious since Joel's departure that no one from the Bruery is engaged on BA with any sort of regularity, so while posting here can be cathartic, it's pretty unlikely to yield results. Emailing them still might not change anything, but it certainly has a higher chance of being read.

Have you ever had fresh "BT"? It's not very good... Besides, the last thing Bruery needs is ANOTHER high ABV stout series.

I feel like last time Bruery raised their pricing people made a big deal about it and they adjusted the pricing. This time I haven't heard that much about it. Any reason why there's only been a few posts about their absurd price increase? People not as interested? As someone who is a regular this will make me frequent the bruery much less, even with my Hoarders discount.
