I am very interested in going if someone isn't going to buy their 2 tickets. My preference would be Tuesday at 8. BM me if you want to work something out. Thanks!

2nd Session Monday night, and this the night before (going to be a rough week at work) . . .

    MELANGE #3 COMPONENTS
    HOARDERS & BREWMASTERS DINNER

    Dear Hoarders Society member,
First off, let us welcome you to the exclusive 2013 Hoarders Society. We are very excited to throw some great events for you this coming year and we decided to start right now!
As you probably just read, we'll be having our Barrel Aged Beer Celebration later this month. What we would like to invite you to is a special Barrel Aged Beer dinner at The Bruery Provisions that focuses specifically on the components that make up Mélange #3.
On Sunday, 11/25 at 8pm, we will be hosting 50 people to enjoy dinner and drinks as Patrick, Tyler and our staff escort you through a tasting that will include Black Tuesday, Fruet, White Oak Sap, Mélange #3 and a sneak peak at Griffon Bruxellois.
Each beer course will be paired with a dish prepared by Brian Liem, our kitchen coordinator at The Bruery Provisions along with Patrick Rue. Courses are as yet undecided, but will likely include a dish from our newly restored Bruery smoker as well as a return of a take on The Bruery Liége Waffle!
Of course, guests will also go home with a bottle of 2011 Mélange #3!
Tickets are $65 and members are allowed 2 tickets.

Dude, at the first Hoarders Society meeting we all pledged we wouldn't mention any of the events on BeerAdovcate. How could you forget so soon?

Yeah, got that one too. Opted to pass for that one, sounds great, and really it's a only a $35-40 event, since if you planned to buy Melange 3 anyway, it works out that way. Plus with those beers and food, its a good price, not to mention the setting, and discussion. But, the barrel party has a larger list, so going to that. Would love to do both, but being work nights in both cases, and living just over an hour away, not in the cards. Next one, hopefully. More notice helps in requesting days off, or half days for such things too

You know, i'm the first to throw "entitlement culture" out there. . . But after dropping $750 on HS, i thought i would at least be entitled to get a little consideration in terms of reasonablee timing/notice ahead of time.

Im sure im not the only one who dropped major coin that has a career that we cant just opt to take weekdays off on short notice. We have to plan ahead.

Convenience is a major reason why these Bruery groups work.

Dropping all this in such a short time frame is not convenient. I give you an interest free loan for convenience. I would expect some consideration in return.

There are plenty of well qualified, yet unemployed events coordinators out there. . .
