This was amazing. Awesome head retention/spotty lacing for the ABV. Aromas and flavors of huge milk chocolate, cocoa, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, coconut, fudge, marshmallow, brownie batter, vanilla, bourbon, toasted oak, nuts, and dark/brown bread; with light notes of coffee, molasses, licorice, raisin, cherry, date, tobacco, and smoke. Some increasing booze in the aromas as it warms, but not too overwhelming. Mild herbal/roast bitterness and bourbon/oak tannin spiciness on the finish. Light-medium carbonation and fairly full body; very creamy, silky, velvety, and rich mouthfeel that is amazing. Slight sticky hops, chalky roast, and bourbon/oak tannins. Slightly increasing lingering bitter/tannic dryness, no cloying/acrid roast. Dangerously smooth sipping; mildly increasing warmth of 13%, minimal barrel booze. This nails it for a dessert style as expected. Amazingly rich malt complexity, with perfectly balance flavorings, and barrel integration. Not overly sweet/heavy from lingering dryness. Well worth the price.

[IMG] So my local favorite coffee stout, gave this one The Barry Bonds treatment and turned it from 6% ABV to 10% and it is the easiest drinking 10 you have ever had and roasty as hell. Cheers and 33 pages yesterday on WBAYDN, nice turn out ladies and gentlemen.

I felt kinda left out during yesterday's WBAYDN since I was other-directionally motivated. Tthe Kvass Kick is back up and running, Kamarades! There were three (3) of us who were hardcore for a while ( @TMoney , @NeroFiddled & @woodychandler ) until @UCLABrewN84 raised the question as to whether Kvass was worthy of or even merited inclusion. 8=( The wind left my sails as the debate protracted & I simply moved on. Time has borne me out & Kvass has a solid place on this site! Happy happy joy joy! Which brings me to my current, renewed interest. I took some Kvass to a monthly bottle share last Saturday & while it was not wildly received, it was still pooh-poohed by some attendees! 8={} I ALREADY fought in this battle & won! Now, I am simply drinking the fruits of my success in advance of today's visit from @tone77 who will get halvsies of everything yesterday & today.

Incredible NEDIPA. Aromas and flavors of big lightly tart/tangy pineapple, orange juice, guava, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berries, citrus peel/zest, and light pepper/pine hops; with moderate wheat, biscuit dough, light honey malt sweetness; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Very mild pine, citrus peel/zest, herbal, floral, grassy bitterness; and fruit tang/tartness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; very creamy/silky/bready malts; slight sticky hops and fruit tang/acidity in the mouthfeel. Slightly increasing lingering bitter/tangy dryness; no cloying/astringency. Touch of lingering spicy alcohol. Insanely smooth/soft, mildly increasing warmth of 8.6%. Amazing Mosaic/Citra profile as expected. Extremely juicy hops/fruit, with slight dankness; perfect wheat/oat/malt balance. Not overly sweet/heavy from lingering dryness. Another easy winner, been a huge fan of pretty much everything they have been doing.

Amazing APA. 1 month old pack. Aromas and flavors of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, citrus peel/rind, light pepper, and pine hops; with moderate toasted bread, light caramel malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body, and fairly crisp/clean finishing. Balanced bready/grainy malts and sticky/resinous/rindy hops in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing resin dryness, no hop astringency. Very refreshing for a pale ale, not overly aggressive. Amazingly juicy, vibrant, dank, and earthy balanced Citra hop complexity; nice bready malt backbone, with no residual sweetness from lingering bitter dryness. Revisited the review recently. One of the best in the style I've had, even though my rating dropped by a large margin from the original one. Glad it is easier to find now when I visit Ohio.

Awesome imperial brown as expected. Aromas and flavors of big caramel, toffee, brown sugar, vanilla, bourbon, coconut, toasted oak, biscuit, and brown bread; with lighter notes of chocolate, cocoa, coffee, roasted nuts, raisin, plum, fig, date, cherry, peach, pear, herbal hops, and yeast earthiness. Increasing booze in the aromas as it warms, but not overwhelming. Very mild herbal/roast bitterness and bourbon/oak tannin spiciness on the finish. Light carbonation and fairly full body; very creamy/silky malts; light slickness, sticky hops, and bourbon/oak tannins in the mouthfeel. Slightly increasing lingering bitter/tannin dryness; no cloying sweetness. Some increasing warmth of 12%, minimal lingering barrel booze. Awesome balance of rich malts, fruity yeast, and bourbon barrel presence/integration. Not overwhelming or boozy on barrels. Will get more for sure.

Hoof Hearted Slo Turbo. This was fantastic. Amazing lasting head retention/thick soapy lacing. Aromas and flavors of huge tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, blueberry, gooseberry, white grape/wine, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, peppercorn, and pine hops; with moderate wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light honey/toasted malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; balanced creamy/bready/grainy malt, sticky hops, and some resins/rinds in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing resin dryness, no hop astringency. Very smooth, nicely soft, minimal warming 8.5%. Feels like Nelson, Motueka, and possibly Kohatu(only advertised as heavy Nelson and all NZ). Extremely juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hops; with a nice balancing wheat/oat/malt backbone. Minimal residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. Another easy winner as expected.
