Good morning US BAs and good afternoon to our euro-brethern! It's windy and cool here in NW PA, with snow trying to fall but mostly getting blown further east. Today's New Breakfast Beer:

    – Considering this can is over a year old, it’s still an above-average IPA.

Happy Monday ba. Time to make the fucking donuts. Unfortunately, it’s just not that good and a pretty bad representation of dd coffee. My second, and last bottle, and I will probably downgrade my NBS score from yesterday.

This beer is outstanding. Glad to have another from the gift pack in the downstairs fridge. I do not think it will survive to it's June 2020 BB date. Cheers all!

Switched over to white wine at dinner last night then stayed up very late watching TV with Mrs. Z, so slept in...morning coffee - FBS:

Yesterday I met the owner/brewer while drinking at Munkle Brewing Co. and he gave me a private tour...here’s some pics:

All new state of the art equipment 20BBL system. Owner’s uncle is a Monk (hence “Munkle”). Great Belgian style beer in Charleston. Cheers!

It's a day late for an NBS post, but I'll call it a new beer Monday. Metric Brewing's French Accent, a nice goblet pour from the Crowler purchased last night - a peanut butter roasty stout that smells like Reese's Cups and tastes more like Nitro Milk Stout. My wife loves it too...Fantastic stuff from this relatively new brewer here in Colorado Springs. Cheers, let the great thaw-out begin!

Right along here ba. This is Ridgewood Resurrection, ddh iipa brewed with Nelson & ddh w/citra and Nelson, from EvilTwin brewing NYC. Crazy good hop juice. Pronounced soft and plush citrus hops upfront, with a creamy juicy flow that finishes remarkably smooth with very little bitter. Will be grabbing more.

Cheers, BAs! Last can of Dabble, and while I can say I enjoy it, I can also say I'm not running out to get another.

A little CBS here ba. The sweet syrup note seems to be a bit dominating on this years batch. I don't really remember this on the previous year. Regardless, pretty good base/barrel balance with endless and complex flavor notes. Gonna wine stop it and drink a few glasses hroughout the day,

Amboy Dukes..... now you got me thinking
Saw them about 100 years ago (1970) at the People's Fair. Three day concert outside of Stevens Point Wisconsin. I think we had a great time.

Literally, my first exposure was at the Mansfield, Ohio roller skating rink around 1973. Ted Nugent and the Amboy Dukes (Call of the Wild tour) were headlining a three act show - the first band a local one -- Blackbird, I think -- and act II was Mike Pinera and Cactus.

I still remember Nugent, the loin cloth, breaking glass balls with feedback, and swinging on a rope -- and the music was ear-splittingly excellent!

Life as an impressionable teen was great back then...
