I think they’re actually out of HS cans according to their IG page.

I saw that IG post too but looks like they deleted it? I guess OH wants to announce.

I'm definitely in for next weekend. Should be able to do either day, but had it in my head we were planning on Saturday.

That would be sick if we were able to hang in the old other half side. If it scores us any brownie points, I'll add how much I enjoyed I Miss the Old Other Half. That one's still standing out to me over 3rd and 5th as of last weekend. While I still thought they were all good, I'll echo others here who said 5th was starting to fall off slightly. I felt like the aroma wasn't want it was fresh and overall not as good as I remembered.

And catching up on some topics here, Medusa was interesting. Very fruit foward, but in a way unlike other hops. More of a cherry candy thing. It was unique and appreciated that, but maybe not for me, especially on it's own. Glad to have just tried it in the taproom. I was able to snag a couple Bissell Bros pours last weekend, but missed out on Swish. Of everything I had, I walked out grabbing a 4-pack of Space Diamonds, which to me speaks for itself. Love that beer and that it's one of the more "core" regular offerings.

This got me thinking, we've brought up the idea of the mythical 'always-stocked' take away fridge at OH. If that were to ever happen, what would be your idea of the best 'core' offerings you'd want to see in there? I think for me it's Hop Showers, ACE, Space Diamonds, and Forever Simcoe (not sure if this one counts as a 'core offering' or not, which also begs the question, how many times has it had to have been brewed to qualify?)

Anyway, lactose is garbage, OH stouts are too sweet, lines suck, Hop Showers is king, blah blah rah....

Hop Showers, ACE, Space Diamonds would all def need to be in a stocked to go fridge. I loved Forever Simcoe but the most recent time I had it I didn't like it as much. Would Broccoli fall in the core? its been brewed a ton and doesnt have the "treatment" and I love it ha

Edit: I would love a dual hop or 2 in there too. Citra + Galaxy, Citra + Mosaic, Mosaic + Motueka or even some single hop ones, I miss all those

I'd add Mylar Bags as well. I wish Forever Simcoe was brewed more often.

I dunno if it's just me... I liked simcoe beers in 2016, 2017 they slipped, & 2018 I fell back in love with simcoe. I know good years happens with grapes, so it has to happen with hops. Is there a Farmer's Almanac thing where I root for either El Nino or La Niña to get the beer I love?

Didn't realize how single-hop centric my picks were. The dual hop series are typically my favorite beers. Would love to see citra+galaxy regularly, but I do find the rotating cast a fun experiment.

Pastrytown list is getting ridiculous. Green City was fairly easy to navigate and not drink everything. This might be trickier!

Team Simcoe might want to check out Interboro's "You're all I need: Simcoe" dropping tomorrow. The Vic Secret version was damn good.

I guess I would want Double Mosaic Dream (reg or DDH) and ACE as my always stocked in the fridge beers.

Short dark, hop showers, ace, and space d

If that was the beer fridge I would very rarely go to a release

There should also be a separate Mylar fridge covered in a huge bag that reeks of hops that you have to take off every time you open it.

Will have to give it a try!

Did any one try gold bangles yet?

I really like gold bangles. It’s a bit different with the Wit strain but its unique and very crushable. Lots of melon, lemon and peppery notes.

I did have a glass of the new new Hop Showers and, as suspected, was in liquid heaven.

Excited to crack the west coast IPA next.

Stupid question time: is the West Coast IPA actually clear or did OH pull a fast one and make that bitch turbid?

It’s OH clear. Not crystal clear, but it looked clear compared to the other IPAs in the taproom.

DB Vanilla Summation was the best beer at Wakefest.

I have major high hopes for BA Adjunct Trail. Loved the base. I'll get to drink it at Super Rad Thursday.
