I think we can say the More hop program has taken a big step forward. We’re on a streak here

I loved how More's warning that Coconut City *might* be 1pp kept the line so short. Arrived at 10, cans in hand 1130, met a bud who already had a table, enjoyed a nice long lunch...meanwhile keyboard warriors all over were castigating More all over the social medias.

How are people so offended about release limits? They're being transparent and willing to be flexible based on turnout. No one is entitled to anything. When I read the original social backlash on Friday, my eyes rolled back into my head like I was The Undertaker.

It's funny because on one hand, you're right. On the other, it's terrifying that we're at the point where an hour wait ahead of time, and then another half hour is a "short" line for five cans :joy::joy:

I ate brunch with my wife there sunday at around 2pm and Henna and coconut city were both on tap. Both were good, not mind blowing or anything but good. The food on the other hand is amazing, french toast nashville hot chicken and samosas.

I think some people just like to b*tch on social media.

True, but can't really blame that on the producer. We have our collective selves to blame for that.

That is short? That is roughly one hour and twenty minutes longer than I am willing to wait in line for a beer.

If your mule doesn't loop the line, did they truly get a full allotment?

None of us should be surprised by people on the internet losing their marbles. I mean some people did predict this....

Not to mention that getting disproportionately agitated relative to the size of the problem seems to be the way of the world these days.

Good news. This market is insane right now and we don’t have to stand in line to get good beer

Agreed 100%. The odd part is how many people do not realize this!

The odd part to me is how hard people try to justify online why they don't wait in line. If you don't think it's worth it, repeating over and over that there are other beers out there doesn't really do anything. There aren't a whole lot of beers like the marbles series. It was an hour of my day and I met several cool people and shared some beers. I along with many others enjoy the thrill of the hunt. It's fun sharing rare beers with your friends.

Is this about to be round 2,078,589,911 of waiting in line vs. not waiting in line discussion? Or is it round 2,078,589,912? I think I'm off by one.

I just think it's hilarious that on a website made for beer enthusiasts, people are complaining that people do anything but buy beer off the shelf at binnys

yep, there are dozens of beers collecting dust that are equal to More's offerings

i don't particularly love their stuff nor their business decisions, but let's not kid ourselves here.

The discussion always ends the same: people will stand by their own reasons of why they choose to wait or not wait in line(s) for beer(s)... kind of like how much people are willing or not willing to pay for beer. No one is going to convince anyone to come around to the other's view on the matter.

Yes, but the most important discussion is: What’s the best way a brewery should do a special release?

That will depend on each individual, seeing as in most cases the individual tends to be biased toward the manner which favors the outcome for him/her. People living 5 minutes away will say to reward the 'regulars' that come in all the time. Some will say first come, first serve unannounced. Others may prefer first come, first serve when announced. Lottery. On-line ticket sales. Proxies, etc. etc. Just depends. There is no 'best' method.

As long as the beer is good and it's on draft/available on-site for few days, I'm fine with however a brewery chooses to do their bottle releases. If the only way to get it is in a bottle, then I'll make the call whether it's worth it my time or not based on method, mood, FOMO....
