Hi, I am trying to find a specific beer whose name I forgot and I'm hoping this community can help me. I bought some to take to a friend's house and really enjoyed it but I don't know how to find it again. I went back to the place I bought it the first time but they don't seem to have any more.

Unfortunately I don't really remember much about the beer. What I remember is:

    - it came in a 4-pack of cans -- larger cans, like maybe 16oz, and it was rather expensive -- like maybe ~$20
    - it was high ABV -- like 8-9%
    - it tasted like cream soda, although it was definitely beer. I think it might have been a "Belgian white"?

I think I'd recognize the label if I saw it -- straw colored, with a picture of maybe a cat?

I think it was brewed somewhere in America but that's just a guess.

Does anyone know what it is? If it's a limited edition beer then maybe I won't even be able to find it again, but I would love to know. I went through the first 150 beers in the Belgian white category sorted by ABV and didn't see any that looked familiar. Thanks for your help!

Yes I was thinking the same.
    Maybe Vito?

Ah yes, that's it! I'm pretty sure it was "All Cats Are Grey in the Dark", their "white stout". Thank you so much! That was making me crazy..

Speaking of Fat Orange Cat, why do they close in the winter? (Which might also explain why the OP can't find the beer...)

Ain't this forum amazing?! I didn't give the OP a prayer of finding this beer with the info given, and the case was solved in the first few posts! Way to go gang!

A bit curious too seeing that they’re in MA and the winters are long. Must be tough to be profitable on that kind of time table.

They distribute locally all year long, but the tasting room is closed Jan to Mar.

They're actually out of East Hampton Ct. I was wondering because I've never seen or heard of them here in MA. Sounds like they make some good brews. Approximately a 1.5 hour drive from my house.

The cans that you'll find distributed to stores are a result of contract brewing.

Are all of their beers made by Dorchester Brewing? or is there an actual brewhouse?
