Event Horizon release date?

Yes. FYI, this is the official Charlotte release and is my understanding that retailers in the Charlotte area will not have it on shelfs until later (that day or a later day). If I remember correctly Duckworths charged $18 per bottle vs. $15 at the brewery and retail stores. There was initially a four bottle limit last year but both pricing and bottle limits have not been released this year. Either way, to be able to bring bottles in and share with other ba's is worth the extra couple of bucks.

City Beverage is having an Event Horizon Release shindig. It will be on Monday, November 19th 5-7pm. FYI.

 

There are many kegs every year. 11 in 2010, probably more in 2011, probably more this year. Besides myself, I know of one other person that has had a 1/4 barrel of the stuff at home.

How much does EH sell for at the brewery? TIA.

 

Mine's long gone. There's a full one kickin around the mountains somewhere as we speak.

 

Curtis, Duckworths beerverage manager here. Bottles will be $15 plus tax which is what they sold for at the brewery last year. 4 bottle limit and then you can go through the line again. Brawley's I believe will have bottles available later that day I believe (haven't heard from him yet). Either way you should go by his shop anyway, my favorite place to shop and a great guy.

I really hope a bunch of people come out, it was a blast last year and I moved the time back so everyone could get some extra sleep (me included!!!!)

We also have a limited amount of Lindley park available. Can't wait!!

 

Don't count on it. We have a secret weapon in the Beer Rapper.

The Olde Hickory Boys will be up here as our exclusive brewery for one of the biggest events in the high country this weekend, Peabody's Annual Wine Expo (sorry tickets completely sold out)! I would bet if you hold your tongue right and close your eyes and imagine it, there is a pretty good chance that you can load up on Saturday for those of you within' shouting distance or feeling a drive coming on!!
