    Ugh. the usual hair of the dog beer choice for a Sunday morning. Hotbox.
    Had a few last night at a taproom, including the new Fremont Sky Kraken (very nice) and the new Outer Range Steezy DDH IPA (also nice, a little mango-ey). Finished with Copper Kettle Cafe con Leche - which was drier, but at 5.6% not an ass-kicker. Probably smarter than finishing with Sump. Happy Sunday! Guess what. It's an hour later than you think. Bernie Sanders did that. (i missed all the late-night shit-talking, so there's my paltry effort).

    Deep canary yellow verging on gold color with good white cap and lacing.

    Slightly tart, slightly sweet aroma of ripe apricots. Not much else there in the way of grain or hops, but the apricot scent is pleasant.

    Taste is a good deal more flavorful than the scent. Both tart and sweet are equally in focus on the same plane. Fruit sharpness is blunted by fruit sweetness in a way that is more off setting than balancing. Clean, simple flavors that highlight apricot in all it's glory. This is a very pleasing Summery sort of brew that strikes me more a refreshant than food accompaniment.

    Recycled pic, drinking now. Three hours work and 31 mile paved trail ride complete. Starting lunch prep, getting used to "new" time again, it only feels like 11....
