I'm usually one to shoot down conspiracy theories ... but the silence is deafening on this one.

 

February 24th, 2017 was his going away party at RAM. The most interesting question (I think) was if his arrangement was for 2 years or if it was open-ended and the timing just happened to land around a similar time of year. The other fascinating question is where he’s brewing/canning out of. Given the current market, there are lots of candidates

 

MoRE did remove the “About Us” on their webpage. Had a Bio on the owners, Shaun and Evan. That’s about the only public action I’ve seen from MoRE today.

 

I feel like there's enough people who actively monitor ILCC license applications that this would've come to light already if they were far enough into the process to say beer is weeks away .

Will be interesting to hear the whole story if it ever comes out.

How does it work with beers he brewed at more? Is he able to reproduce “henna” and the likes Under a different name or do the recipes belong to more?

 

The names belong to More obviously. Recipes can’t really be copyrighted, and even if they could it would be remarkably easy to get around it.

 

Basically using the Hop butcher model with taproom location TBA..

sounds like the rapid expansion plans pushed shaun over the edge. its very clear shaun and evan jumped ship because their vision didnt align with sonny and perry.

I think you all are missing the most important part of the story. There are 65 barrels filled with Shaun's beer at MoRE. If their reputation craters and the hype disappears, does that mean I'll have a shot at getting some bottles?

 

First off, I’m saying chances this name stays seems pretty unlikely.

Where exactly in Lake Zurich is this contract brewing located?

 

Industrial complex tucked in the corner of 22 and Quentin. Facility Black Belt Brewing brewed out of before they tanked. Lake Zurich Brewing then took over the spot.

 

Sounds like Facility Black Belt wasn’t too lean...

 

Probably not because some of them are colabs with Bottle Logic, Voodoo and Weldwerks (I think on WW, if not it's some other hype brewery).
