One would hope they both (More and Phase Three) clear up all the mis-information regarding the split because all this speculation does is impact both of them negatively.

For what it is worth, Phase Three was formally organized as an LLC on March 11, 2019.

It takes several months to get a brewers license. The way Phase Three is doing it, they don't need one.

The distributor license they'll need... I couldn't speak to how long that takes, but I'm guessing it's more in the "weeks" range.

I don't personally think anyone was trying to screw over anyone here. More's owners had their ideas, these 2 guys weren't down with that, and they decided to go do their own thing and did More a solid by letting them know their plan before More committed to taking on debt to expand.

If Phase Three is contract brewing, then they don't need a license but, that means someone other than Shaun is making the beer and they are just following his recipe.... enjoy your Florida Sue....

If Shaun is going to be brewing anything himself he'll need his new entity licensed by the TTB if they are set-up in an alternating brewing arrangement....those usually take a minimum 3 months.

Serious question...Why does anyone here care under what terms/conditions Shaun and Evan left More? Unless you are friends/business partners with Sonny and Perry what difference does it make? You'll get your hazy beer, exploding smoothies and pastry stouts in due time.

For me, I'd like to know if one side completely screwed the other side over. That will probably dictate whether I vote with my dollars on patronizing them or not. I realize that many people could give two shits about this, but for me personally, it is important. And as someone who was an infrequent customer of More (maybe was there 4 times in the last 2 years) and barely a drop in their bucket so to speak, it's about the principle of the thing for me.

Really? Given they are valued at 2.6 billion dollars- the 4th most valuable NBA franchise, I'd say the product doesn't matter as long as people enjoy going and spending their money there....

Per Shaun in the podcast, they're contract brewing.

They're likely going to be a lot more hands on than that definition would normally imply, but they're operating on LZB's permit not their own. His words.

Alt prop is an option for the future, but again, that requires fed and state licensing. That's *months* away. Probably over a year if they applied today.

I suppose that’s true. Who gives a shit about the product quality as long as people still buy it... basically the same as some breweries.

Yeah, I see this "contract brewing" thing as a bit of a *wink wink nudge nudge* -- it's not like brewers involved in collabs have to sit on their hands while the host brewers do all the work....

I'd accept any location serviced by dependable public transportation.

No, Metra doesn't count. I said dependable.
