Before you pour it down the drain, just send it to me.

    Yeah really...burnt tires? No...

It was spicier than 2017, but that's about it. The underlying stout could have been more substantial and less drowned out.

Making such a large amount of beer, having to use such a large amount of natural ingredients like chili peppers and cinnamon, you're going to have variation year to year, and probably bottle to bottle.

Unless you want them to use extracts...

Yeah and the thing is... I want variation. Not so much bottle to bottle but year to year I want them to be their own thing. If one year is worse than another then so be it, but it's still fun to open one with friends who've never had it.

Finally get CC here in DC and I must say Guayabera is one hell of a pale ale. I'm going to keep buying this.

Sad I missed the release days, but hopefully I can still get some of these.

The Smiling Nut is drinking fantastic. Wish I had bought more. Lots of rye whiskey and vanilla!

At $29 and change (with El Catadore discount) that is a deal for 32oz. We paid $35 for 25.4oz in the club.

We really paid closer to $25 to $30 a bottle when you include the other items included in the $250 total. It's not as simple as dividing $250 by 7.

I bought the available 2 extra bottles that members were allowed to get at $35.00 each + tax.

And I bought an extra bottle of DB Hunaphu for $50. That doesn't mean the bottle included in the original 5 bottles cost me $50.

Yes, Always! seems to be flying under the radar, not a lot of chatter but damn delicious beer. Thought it was way more complex, delicious and THICK than I was anticipating for a random ba stout with a pretty meh name.

Yes, Always! is the name of one of the beers they released during TBBW.

    Hey I didn't name it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I tried it as draft several days ago, and was quite disappointed. The same feeling about DB Marshal Zhukov, too.

Wow! I can understand the Emotional Support Duck being divisive (I couldn't stomach that, tasted too medicinal and sweet to me), but loved the Yes. It started off a bit too whiskey forward, but the viscosity and thickness helped it out and as it warmed it really developed for me.
