Seems like a lot more VIPs this year.

 

Experimental version is my first time having ACE since it's usually a Saturday can and it never makes it to Monday. No wonder the NoTose stable sings its praises all the time. It tastes a bit green as fresh OH usually does, but the flavor and mouthfeel are A+. It's one of those beers where you go to take another sip and realize that your glass is already empty.

Enjoy the day pastryboiz. Don't be like Kevin.

 

For anyone not attending today the warehouse is open with two registers vs. usual four to five. Plenty of stuff and no line as of 10:30.

 

Make sure you put your insulin pump in the official Pastrytown fanny pack.

 

Bake and pretty much everything from three chiefs is timed

Full disclosure, I'm hammered already at 12:45, but they realllllllllllly need to keep these beers in iced water, not ice and.. Ice. All the stouts are too cold.

Highlight just now on the live stream - @Comparison_Ford getting Icing’ed (pastry stout equivalent of being iced) by Rob with a bottle of VIP. Took a knee like a champ

 

One sixtel of bake.. Lasted about 11 mins. If you got in line at 1:45 for the timed tapping at 2:00, you didn't get any.

 

Haha. As much as I hate feeling sticky, that still almost sounds superior to the day I'm having. Ended up selling my ticket in favor of inviting some friends over to hang out and make some homemade pastrami. Just got back from an urgent care clinic because I sliced my finger while I was prepping some pickled red onion.

Nevertheless, hope everyone is enjoying themselves. Keep us updated regarding any and all fuckery that takes place.

idk I got in line around then and there were a ton of people cutting cuz most of the line was waiting for the Bake tapping. Trying to explain to drunk people that are being cut in line that they need to move up because everyone in line is wsiting like them was pretty useless. Honesty I’m surprised because I got in line after Bake for Faha and had no problem.

Highlight of my day was being handed a cupcake by the wife of the dude who was arrested for stealing lightbulbs at Walmart. Not sure what she’s doing at the EQ booth but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

On my way back from the fest. Really great event. BA Adjunt Trail, Vanilla Summation and VIP Snowbirds were the winners of the day for me.

The wrestling was my favorite part though. Andrew knee dropping a dude into cake to close out the event. Come on.
