Nice. There goes my beer budget for the month. No, that’s not a complaint.

I’m digging the can art on these, as always. I think it’s pretty cool how the barrel aged beers have a subtle “wood grain” design on the Carton emblem (Sundae, St. Kitt’s, French, Inside Our DNA all have it).

This also makes me wonder how much friggin’ coffee Carton must have gone through over the last year or so. I had a Balinator last night, I swear that beer packs so much coffee flavor that I wanted to cry (tears of joy), along with that bready, raisiny sweet malt back bone...god damn that beer is a beast. Would love to see another Cartonator/Dopplebock thing someday.

Definitely stopping by Carton (and Kane) tomorrow and yes, beer budget will be busted.

Just finished an Irish Coffee for St. Pats. Don’t know if it’s actually different than before but really enjoyed it more this year. Haven’t had the French one yet but I’ve enjoyed all the irregular coffees this year.

Seems like there’s much less mint and more wood this year.

If only Mexican Coffee weren't aged in Tequila barrels...(I realize I'm an oddity with despising Tequila).

    Hopefully Balinator hits distribution.

Balinator is all over the place and worth picking up. A super rich chocolate doppelbock which I think is going to evolve nicely as it ages. I'm on my fourth 4 pack already!

I was originally disappointed to see Mexican Coffee was aged in Tequila barrels too but it’s actually not very tequila-y. All the irregular coffees have been tasty this year.

SS Hief! One of my faves. Wonder if this’ll see distro? Was just down at Carton last weekend so hoping it will.

Carton's current can lineup is great. I have to go down to Asbury Park for my cousin's birthday next week, and was planning on stopping by Kane on the way down. If the irregulars and SS Hief are still there, I might have to take the longer (and more expensive) detour to Carton.

So I originally passed on balinator. Something about hopless steered me away.

Saw it in my local store this weekend and wanted a non-IPA so I gave it a shot. So glad I did. Amazing beer the way all the flavors play together. Nose is coffee and sweet malts. Taste, the coffee is there, but not overpowering. Highly recommend. This is carton at their best.

I picked some up at my local store in South Jersey last year. I’m sure it’ll hit distribution this year too, which is great because it’s my favorite too...along with HopPun, which has got the “Overhopped” tag it seems. Really excited to have a batch brewed in Atlantic Highlands again (nothing against the 2 Roads version, I just loved it more when it was NJ brewed...call it bias if you want)

Anyone know the reason it took Carton on the Road beers (This Beer Rhymes with Orange) two months to his the shelves in NYC? They just arrived over the last few days with canning dates from mid-January. Carton beers usually hold up well, but where were these cans for two months?

I thought it was supposed to be local market only (CT) per earlier discussion on here... guess there are leftovers that finally got sent to NYC?

Picked up some "Overhopped" HopPun today @ Roger Wilco in Pennsauken (still about a case left). I'm extremely happy with it. This reminds me of the HopPun I had on draft a few years ago; just a treat of a pale ale. I miss having pales that have a great hop presence as well as a solid malt backbone and this does just that. Hats off to Carton for this one. I'm glad I bought two packs

Also, no SS Hief yet but last year that didn't make it's way south until 2-3 weeks after it became available in Highlands.
