$24 seems like a steal. Wish I was able to get down there.

Anyone know if crowlers of Shamrock BCBS are still available today (Sunday)?

Yes, as of 2pm. And I will agree with others, it’s fantastic. Very subtle mint (same with chocolate and vanilla, really), but the chocolate and lactose make the mouthfeel even better that typical BCS. Very balanced variant.

If any of you maniacs happen to be going there today and want to get me your grandmule's crowler, I'll find a way to make it worth your time and effort, and be your online beer nerd BFF. I like short walks on the beach and barrel-aged beer. Strings attached. Thanks for reading!

Mint is indeed very subtle, vanilla too actually, but the chocolate is definitely there. Crowler was short 1/2”, so I’m glad I didn’t sit on it too long. But after 32oz of 14% stout, should I really care?

How are the prices roughly on the BCBS bottles at the Fulton location? I'm going to be in Chicago next week for a few days and would like to drink a few bottles there but I'm not sure if the prices are "reasonable".

I’ll be in Granby and Alma this summer, because I exclusively hide out in small mountain towns. You know, trouble with the law and all that.

I’ll be the guy with the fake mustache and the cowboy boots (resplendent with spurs). Looking forward to meeting you!

Edit: northwoods on at Fulton today

Goose Clybourn has some bottles of Ground Control ‘15 (BBA old ale) on sale for $15.

A bit thin and undercarbonated, but nice bright, malty nose; pleasing light barleywine on the palate. It reminds me of drinking amber ale as a bourbon chaser as a young man... I’ll be getting a bottle or two!

With all the consolidation in the industry, I hope Goose Island can stay independent.

Had Reserve '18 on tap at Bitter Pops last night, and I have to say I was really impressed. It was much better than I expected, and definitely an improvement over '18 regular imo. Easily my 2nd favorite variant this year, and pretty close to #1 (which is Midnight Orange).

Before trying it, I didn't think I would care for MO. And so far, its my favorite variant by a mile (haven't had Reserve yet though).
