That's all I was asking for.. An email, some bonus access, and some details. I'm pacified for now........ Let's hope these bottles are ready soon. They sound pretty tasty.

 

I won't be able to attend the anniversary party, but I hope the members can take advantage of the early access. It will be an hour of just angry, impatient people. Haha

Did any member go to the Anniversary party? How was the aforementioned stouts?

Damn just read over this thread and this is brutal. Is this place still operating? Like is it open week to week to go in and get draft pours?

 

No idea about the tap room, but a number of bottle shops in Anaheim seem to get new cans from them every other week or so. So it would seem they are producing a lot of different new beers, just not for the people who invested in starting the brewery in the first place?

 

Yes. Open 365 days a year, and usually fairly busy. I certainly won't be visiting anytime soon, and unless the bottles I receive are absolutely outstanding, I'll never go again, and ensure no one I know will go either.

My online anger grows by the week.. If the bottles suck, the full extent of my beer snobbery will be unleashed.

 

Now I'm picturing you slashing your friends' tires, loosening their lug nuts, etc.

 

That would work.. But most just take my beer opinions as gospel. I've got them all fooled.

This is not an "interest free loan" - that implies there's something coming the way of the "lender"

Are you implying that once they’re ready they won’t be releasing the barrel aged beers to the members? What are they going to do, sell them to the public and rip off all the members?

Has an Inner Circle member here gone to the location and asked to speak to a manager, etc., regarding membership, updates, etc.? Did the people in charge have any answers? I feel it's much easier to ignore emails than to ignore someone standing right in front of you. Sorry if I missed this in the thread, but I don't think I did.

 

Hang on, let me go get my hair styled to the "I need to speak to a manager" look, then I will head on over. Hehehe

Yes, we have had chats with both Bills while we have been up there. Information is always the same, the beer is ready when it's ready. Yes, it has taken a looooooooooong time and there is almost no excuse for it, but those that invested also did so with a brand new brewery. There is plenty of beer in san diego that is readily available, plenty of other clubs too. I have already written this one off as a poor investment on my part. I was hopeful, but c'est la vie.

We are still getting our discount when we visit, so not like there is nothing. We also can buy 4pks before public, but nothing has really sold out where we needed to, but it is still nice, plus discount applies (or did to me when I went).

 

No one’s being ghosted. The owner responds to emails within hours of being sent.

I just hope the beer is good. The stouts were in barrels for over a year. I would prefer to wait over a year and have a good beer than get a 6 month barrel aged beer rushed out the door. We’ll see.
