    10th Annual Stoutfest Breakfast Tickets

    Date And Time
    Sat, April 6, 2019
    9:00 AM – 12:00 PM EDT

    Description
    3 Rare Stouts / 3 Epic Courses / 1 World Class Brewer

We like the element of surprise so beyond this you'll just have to trust us and make your own assumptions.

If you have been fortunate enough to attend any of our past Stoutfest breakfasts, then you already know this will be nothing short of amazing! Your wake-up call will be provided by Iggy's in Cambridge and Armeno Coffee Roaster's out of Northboro, while Chef Sean Dacey puts the final touches on your meal. The three stouts offered during the breakfast will ONLY be offered to guests at the breakfast.

As if imbibing 3 amazing stouts wasn't enough, once the breakfast concludes, each guest is not only guaranteed a seat for the Stoutfest tapout when doors open to the public at noon, but will also have access to the first pour of all 22 world-class stouts!

anyone have any info on what the rare stouts and world class brewers were in previous years? and what exactly would I get from the $110?

I bet a search of this very same forum will find you the previous year's threads for this event, chock full of the information you're looking for.

Hill Farmstead last year. Probably Hill Farmstead again this year.

Not that it'll matter to most of us anyways - sells out in 5 seconds since there's so few seats available.

Last year was J Wakefield and Trillium. Twas fun as usual but this year they dropped the admission price which is welcomed.

Beers are always great and the breakfast is always rich and decadent.

Can get insanely busy when it opens to the public.

I just got a ticket, going for the first time. I've wanted to go since i've heard about it and it's always the weekend after my birthday so i figured i'll treat myself this year.

Last year this plan seemed to work beautifully:

    - Park
    - Charm my way into early check-in at the hotel
    - Brunch + BA stout pairings
    - Two flights split between myself and the SO. Order way too much food from UNO centered around an XL pepperoni deep dish
    - Stumble into UNO and awkwardly wait for my food (I never know what to do with my hands, guys)
    - Walk to my room and inhale the food with intermittent Gatorade pulls
    - Think about throwing up... Think better of it and take a nap
    - Wake up an hour later to throw up
    - Eat leftover pizza because I'm empty now
    - No shower - head to the Dive Bar to get weird only drinking hops + sours because the thought of a stout makes me feel upset and opinionated
    - Walk by the Palladium and let everyone know all the cool hardcore/pop-punk shows I used to go to there
    - Get back to the hotel room and open Spotify to play all the songs I remember from those cool hardcore/pop-punk bands
    - Pass out in my shoes before the first song plays (No Spotify premium = ads)
    - Wake up and reevaluate my existence

Looking forward to doing this again.

Any thoughts on the surprise brews?

I am hoping TH good morning or a new BA release from them, heard they have been aging barrels.

Great post-brunch taplist. Anyone familiar with the quality of Foam stouts? Asking for a friend.

Would love if the brewer was from somewhere like Bottle Logic or Toppling Goliath. But I'll never be disappointed in seeing Shaun Hill as the focal point of a beer event. Either way, I feel like 10th annual = big things poppin'.

Now that you say it, I havent seen any TG on tap at Armsby or The Dive. Maybe not a favorite of theirs?

Never realized that until you mentioned it. Maybe since they've achieved shelf status in MA they don't see the need to add them to the lines.

On another note, anyone up for a makeshift bottleshare post-Stoutfest at a BYOB site?

Agreed. I'll bring some bottles along just in case and slowly leak out hints at who I am at Armsby. All identities and bottleshares aside, hope everyone has a great Stoutfest.

I’ll bring a couple bottles as well. Know any BYOB places nearby where we could open them? I’m not super familiar with the area. Feel free to PM me if you wanna try and make this happen!

I'm potentially interested in a bottle share, but i've got some birthday stuff planned later in the day so i'm not sure how long i'll be able to stay. I'll bring some bottles just in case.

For byob close by I’d recommend Pomir grill on Shrewsbury St. It’s Afghan food and even if that doesn’t sound like your bag their samosas are incredibly good and worth a try for anyone who likes breaded meat (think they also do veg iirc).
