What beer are you drinking now? #2347

Market Garden Progress Pilsner for me and Frosty (lime wit w/tangerine) for Mrs. Marley1.

 

This is Imperial IPA. It is much better on draft than can. Really hoppy and malty both.

 

BBA Irishman’s Enforcer imperial stout.

 

Realized I hadn’t ate. So a brunch sandwhich is in order

Bacon, ham, egg and cheese.


And this seemed appropriate. Two bottles left definitely grabbing more of these when they release this year.

 

Opened one of these last night for NBS, but The Walking Dead got in the way. Today's is just as good as last night's!

16 oz. can.
Moderate pour yields a one inch tan head over a near black body with sticky lacing. Great nose of roasted malt, chocolate, and vanilla. Taste follows nose almost exactly with a finish of milk chocolate, a bit of vanilla, and slight hops. So smooth and delicious! Very nice feel and overall, a wonderful porter and a fine example of how lactose is properly employed. Cheers to John K. and his crew!

New to me beer. Thanks @Tom_V this is a really easy drinking stout. Says coconut and coffee, almost all coconut with just a hint of coffee. Cant taste the alcohol at all. Very nice

Clocking in at 10.5%, this Rum Barrel Aged New Orleans Iced Coffee Imperial Milk Stout is perfect for Monday lunch time, especially since the rain is back.

I last tried this beer back in 2016? and did not really like it. Thankfully, this version is a lot better than I remember. It's got a smooth consistency due to the lactose, and tastes of coffee, a hint of smokiness/burnt something or other, a teeny bit of rum, and that underlying stout. But with the added cane sugar, it's a tad too sweet for my taste. And the base beer is too thin - both in mouthfeel and in flavor - to leave much of an impression. Still, I'm not complaining.
