    Can’t believe this thread hasn’t started at 11:08 am Eastern Time, but can’t find it anywheres, so here goes. In Cincinnati for opening day, first time at Rhinegeist, this is Beta Guppy, a very nice hazy IPA.

    Happy hump day ba.. Starting off with an incredible vanilla shake.. Lots of fudge bittersweet coffee and a shit ton of vanilla.. A remarkable full bodied stout by mikkeller cheers

    11.2 oz. bottle.
    Dupont/Allagash Collab.
    Moderate pour yields a 1.5 inch egg shell white head over a fairly bright, light golden body with some sticky lacing. Nose of slight funk, slight hops, and saison yeast. Wonderful flavors of pepper and slight citrus with a nice dry finish of spice, hops, and funk. Real nice mouthfeel and overall, a great representation of the style. Cheers to this well done collab!

    I can't lie, this is incredibly good! In the past I always just kept to regular Bean Spirit or regular Imperial Bean Spirit and skipped any variants. Bottles were still there yesterday so I thought just try 1. Every flavor coexists perfectly here!

    Some chill time with my all time favorite band!

    Sorry bro I can't make it through an entire baseball game.. Even when I get season tickets me and my boys are out before the 5th inning.. Now basketball thats large... Beer looks amazing cheers

    Nice golden orange color with white cap.

    Aroma of piney citrus (I get grapefruit) with a touch of herbal spiciness.

    Taste on entry is sharply citrus with an emerging hop richness that shows a bit of bitterness in the aftertaste. Malt is there showing a rounded presence that offsets the hops nicely. The citrus element is full and sharp but does not dominate, rather leads the pack. Mid palate an herbal element emerges that adds to the complexity.

    What a day.

    Today was the Special Olympics, such a wonderful event that I look forward to every year. The weather was magically supportive, too. Worked through lunch, and when I got home, I decided it was time to knock out a run while the weather was good (instead of eating and getting sleepy).

    .....then the South Georgia sun came out. :nauseated_face::rage:

    So now I'm exhausted, dead, starving .... and a 15.4% brew seems like exactly what I need.
