    I've started to see Barrel aged Bigfoot popping up in stores the last few days.
    I will agree with you on that, it is a very hoppy Barleywine. A bit too much for my liking. But does help with some age. Planning on snagging a few BA BF since I really dig that one. Barrel seems to transform the base beer. :beers:

    That one is different than the original BA Bigfoot, it is a blend of 1/2/3 year aged Kentucky Barreled versions. Far superior and softer on the bitterness, more barrel/malts. I already reviewed it, you will love it. I guarantee it! I am getting more. :slight_smile:

    Omnipollo Agamemnon. This was amazing. Dense oil pour, fantastic head retention/lacing for the ABV. Aromas and flavors of huge dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, molasses, maple syrup, caramel, toffee, roasted nuts, toasted biscuit, and dark bread/crusts; with lighter notes of licorice, vanilla, raisin, cherry, prune, fig, date, smoke, charcoal, wood, leather, tobacco, herbal, grass, pepper, and yeast earthiness. Slight booze in the aromas as it warms. Light herbal, woody, grassy, peppery hops; and roast/charred bitterness on the finish. Light-medium carbonation and very full body; very creamy, silky, velvety, rich malts; light slickness, sticky hops, chalky char/roast in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing lingering hop/char bitter dryness; no cloying, acrid, astringency. Dangerously smooth sipping, minimal lingering warmth of 12.5%. Not as amazing as the BBA as expected, but pretty close. Insanely rich/well rounded malts and balanced maple syrup complexity; with restrained fruity yeast, and solid earthy hop presence/balance. Not overly sweet/heavy from lingering dryness. Glad I got the pack, worth the price, will be around for a while to get more after this one is done. Would be worthy to age.

    Beautiful morning. Went to the store early and didn't even have to wear a sweater.

    Beautiful clear deep amber gold color with bountiful cap and good lacing.

    Aroma of a floral garden located in the midst of a citrus grove. There's a touch of conifer in the background but that may be my imagination. There is a muted heavier presence which I presume is the malt.

    Surprisingly malty on entry. I say surprising because I was really expecting a hop first hit but that didn't happen until the liquid nectar hit the back of my tongue where hops sprang forth is a most pleasant way. Hop muscles are being flexed but it's more like runners than wrestlers, a light, smooth flowing of hop flavor that builds up to but does not cross over inter bitterness. I could drink this all day but at 7.2% don't know how far I'd get.

    Full bodied malt texture that is substantial without being heavy and enough carbonation to keep things balanced.

    Perfect swing and a hole in one, this is an outstanding brew. Complex, well crafted and beautifully balanced.
