When Parisian microbreweries still struggle to pay rent for their space in Paris, Brewdog just opened a bar in le Marais fancy district, some chairs outside in the quiet place de Thorigny. At least 15 beers on tap, including some French ones, from Hoppy Road brewery (Nancy) to la Goutte d'or (Paris). Also a lot of bottles are available. Friendly staff, good location, high prices... Mikkeler (Denmark) is also opening a tap room in April 26th, and Brussels Beer Projet who had already opened a small bar near Pigalle, is opening a new taproom by the Canal St Martin, already full of bars but not craft beer places. This summer in Paris is going to be crazy for beer lovers. All happening on the right bank guys, don't even bother staying in St Germain des Prés this time.
I am going to miss the Mikkeller grand opening by just a couple days; will probably walk by it still in hopes there's a soft opening before the 26th. But if not, I guess that's just more time at Les Trois 8 and Liquiderie.
You can also check out l'Atalante up North East by the canal and the new bottle shop Mozaic that just opened near the Champs Elysées...
