New Stat: Failed Feedback (Impacts Reputation %)

Very much agreed with this. I still have yet to see a real valid to not leave feedback, whether it's good, bad, or neutral. Feedback has been an expected part of the trade process on this site. I very much think things should be shown retroactively.

I have a reason not to leave feedback, albeit it's likely an exceptional situation. I was to meet someone for an IP long back @ Founders but the trade fell through. However, the person still left me feedback as if the trade occurred. Very odd, yes. I'm not going to leave feedback for a trade that never occurred. So it just stayed like this over time. I suppose I could have asked them to remove the feedback at that time but they were the one who bailed on the trade so I just let it be. And there was no penalty back then. I'd rather their feedback be removed.

I’ve been trading here for years, long before the current trade tracking system was implemented, and slowed way down since it has. I was surprised to see myself dinged for failed to leave feedback, looked into it and realized jeez, I just spaced. I reached out to my trade partner and he didn’t even realize I hadn’t left feedback for him. We were both really happy with the super simple trade we made and in fact he sent me a glass to replace one of my wife’s favorites that had been broken - she couldn’t use it when we got it because she was 8 months pregnant and that was likely why i spaced in the first place, totally not like me to do something like that.

Anyhoo......would be great if I could go and leave him well deserved feedback now and get rid of this ding but doesn’t seem like I’ll be able to do that (?).

 

I reached out to a mod about being dinged myself, (with no response back). It was with a trader from 2017 that I only made 1 trade with but somehow they left me feedback twice. No idea how it happened. But since the mod never responded back it must not be a big deal?
