$7.99 for all 12-ounce variants at Tanasbourne Whole Foods, if I remember correctly.

I was there last on Thursday and I think they only had 3 of the variants left that I saw, with stock dwindling. I know the candy cap mushroom one was gone because I had realized I missed it the first time I was there and was hoping to grab one.

I think they were $7.99 at Whole Foods if I remember right. Breakside is selling them for $9 but I think that can also be for onsite consumption. Breakside on Dekum is also doing a flight of all the variants and the original (bottle pours) for $16.

edit: should have refreshed the page, because @vurt said the same thing

If anyone is still looking, I saw Coconut Matryoshka at the Mill Creek Central Market. Three bottles left.

Pfriem Bourbon Barrel Imperial Stout has been mentioned a few times.

First time I've tried it. Very rich and complex flavor, very sweet. And a bit boozy for me at 11.5%. I think it delivers if an Imperial stout is what you're after. Although I expected the mouth feel to be a bit less loose.

I can't say I disliked it, but I prefer a stick-to-your-ribs Irish or American stout for casual drinking.

However, if I feel the need to put on the smoking jacket, light up a Cohiba Robusto (Cuban of course, not Dominican) and engage in some falconry to round out an evening...this would be my jam.

A variation on the theme, Bend Brewing’s Black Velvet “Brut Stout” took me by surprise. Belgian stout yeast, amyloglucosidase, and blending in some Poppin Bottles (a BBC champagne-inspired sour ale) made for a dry chocolatey effervescent glass of goodness. Could have been a train wreck, but they really pulled it off, and makes me wonder what other styles could benefit from this enzyme.

I don't know how I hadn't sampled From Astoria With Love prior to this evening, but count me among those applauding this zymurgic achievement. So smoothe and balanced and easy to drink much faster than one should.

Is that the one that is the base for Matryoshka?

One of the smoothest RIS I've ever had for sure.

And widely available to boot. That and Dormancy are rotating in my fridge.

    Yup.

And I'm not the biggest fan of coconut, but that variation is phenomenal this year.
